The list:
MASH (got)
Macaframa (got)
Fast Friday (got)
Death Pedal 1
The Flying Scotsman
Quicksilver (got)
Bootleg Sessions (got vol 3)
Bicycle Thieves
Breaking away (got)
Triplets de Belleville
Road to Roubaix (got)
council of doom
Pedal (got)I've marked the films available at the moment. Some of the others I can probably rent if needed (Lovefilm account). Tempted to buy some of the Bootleg session DVDs as a couple are going cheap on Wiggle at the moment. Not really willing to shell out £20 for one!
Sooo... Shall I kick off the first one - how does either Friday 25th June or Friday 2nd July sound? Meet in Coventry sometime around 6pm and cycle back to mine in Leamington. Order up some take-away and maybe visit the off license etc.
Film suggestions for the eve - Fast Friday/MASH? (both about 40mins long).

Just wondered if anyone would be interested in a bike orientated film night. I've aquired "copies" of a few fixed DVDs recently (MASH, Macaframa, Fast Friday etc) and also have a "copy" of Quicksilver to hand. There are other films out there though. I watched The Flying Scotsman a few weeks back which was pretty good.
So, no idea where to watch them, though welcome to do it at mine in Leam - it might combine a ride out from Cov I guess? Suggest maybe once a month?
So, First of can I get some help compiling a list of films to get hold of?
MASH
Macaframa
Fast Friday
Death Pedal 1
The Flying Scotsman
Quicksilver
Bootleg Sessions
Bicycle ThievesTheres a few more listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Cycling_films

Haven't seen this posted, but apologies if a pearoast!
Spotted this on Lifehacker. It's a London "map" (not actually a map as such, no roads etc shown) with tourist and local photos plotted on it. The idea being that when planning a visit to the city you can choose to avoid the usual tourist traps. This guy has done it for quite a few big cities.

Quite interesting! I think it'd be nice if you could actually see the photos somehow, like some sort of overlay/zoom-able setup.

I was going to bid on this! I cocked up last minute and forgot to log in to eBay. I was going to come in last second with a ninja bid. Oh well, glad it went to a forumenger :)
Are you a local (Warwickshire)?
