my girlfriend has a vintage Edwardes frame hanging around the house, we tried to build it up but the top tube was too long (she's shorter than yours, so it might fit) frame, forks and seat tube. headset is nice and bearings are smooth.
here's a photo of it built

i think she picked it up for 50 pounds, so an offer in that area would be good. let me know.
oh and its 48cm.
pm'd on this

comes with campag headset and suginio (i think) bb ++++PENDING SALE++++

link to flicks of the gazelle below, btw these arn't my flicks. They're from the guy i bought it from but thats the exact frame and its in the exact same condition
his words :
It is 55cm ct x 54 cc. It has chrome forks, campag dropouts, butterfly style brake bridge, wrap over seat stays, etc. The paintwork is very good although does have various scratches and chips. Doesn't need a respray and will build into a beautiful ride.i also got the saddle and capagnolo post in the pics and some campag cranks and + coaster wheel set if you want buy em with the frame
anyways pm me if you want more detailsi realllly love this frame but its just too big
TRADE STUFF
nice condition could do with a polish, 48/39 t chain rings would be a good conversion for fixed or ss

campag seatpost, 27.2, has some heavy insertion marks but in overall good condition

campag cranks , with campag dust caps in decent nick, will polish up well, have a 42 t ring on them atm

gazelle saddle

alex nine speed rear wheel, could do with a clean but as far as I know its fully functional

will trade for :
pretty cheap beater frame, under 60 pounds inc p+p to Ireland (should be about 15-20 quid), preferably lugged but im not too picky, anywhere from a 50-52
I also need a cheapish fixed wheelset 700c, maybe off a charge or plug ??, but im not fussed at all as long as thier fuctional
and I also need some blue/white tyres (longshot)anyway let me know

ok so I want to build a fixie and just want some advise
I have an alex 9 speed back wheel, if i want to make that a fixe back wheel is it possible to just remove the 9 speed cog and put on a fixed one with a lock ring ?, i also have a single speed back weel would it be possible to do the same with that, or would that be a better option, i.e lining up the the chain line
and one last question regarding cranks, can i use any cranks on a fixie or do I need to get a fixed chainring or new cranks altogether
oh btw I looked up sheldon but they he didn't go into datail about cranks or converting a wheel
any help greatly appriciated
cheers
