I'd go with whatever you like best, everything looks sweet so far. The later logo version was introduced in the 80's, i believe it features in their 1981 brochure but i'd need to check. So technically period correct but i don't think it matters. The later version is a bit ugly IMHO, too padded.

3ttt Criterium or a perforated assos might be worth a look, assos is pretty hard to find but really nice quality and would tie in with the colours - black w/white logos.

Your's is Model #2 that text coincided with 'Unicanitor' on the side panels in the case of yours in silver also, the SL had the different cradle arrangement like the later Unicanitors (incl Rilsan) which dropped the side text in favour of the flying C on the nose and later logo on the rear.

I have a brown suede Unicanitor but the condition is a way off NOS.

The Unicanitor is a classic choice, plastic or leather covered?

A thousands pardons...i was hopeful it would spark interest in those sunglasses - i've got a box full.

I suppose it comes down to personal preference and admittedly a lot of the Rossin's from this era are shown in their catalogue with white tape, saying that a lot are shown with a 2 colour fade bar tape. Think i'd steer away from brown but hey it's your bike. Looks great so far.

I'd go for black tape personally, bit more classic in my opinion.

I've got a Sirius 49.5cm track frame (although factory drilled for brakes) Reynolds 500 tubing and 531 forks, standover is roughly the same as my road bike 52cm due to the geometry, has nice clearances, a little 'patina'd' has been used but very presentable, original paint/decals etc. Campagnolo Chorus headset.

Not sure on the cost of shipping but could look into it for you.

Maybe the stem/handlebar/ combination suits the proprtions of the owner...just a thought.

Seatpost looks like a twin bolt Campag NR to me, be interested to know what you think would be more in the same league?

Have you considered Velox cloth? Might give a more matte finish to tie in with the saddle?
