I'll definately being using drops. The problem i have with these frames and a lot of modern stuff is there's no delicacy to them, their blunt and angular - they don't flow like the old stuff. I'm wondering how a low section rim would look, the thing needs to look graceful not clumsy. The aerospoke one above......each to their own but to me it's like taking a ballerina's shoe and putting fat laces in it and a Cuban heel.

I thought the radial lacing would be picked up on - fair enough, points noted - particularly TM's. As i said, it's a thought at this stage, i'll more than likely be ruled by what wheelsets come up second hand. That said, if it was the only nod towards HHSB on the bike i could live with it, i wouldn't back track. Truthfully? I think there are some absolute abominations of this bike but i bought the frame because it was cheap and i'm looking to put the whole thing together for around £350-400.

Vigorelli is a gorgeous frame and possibly one of the best rides you'll ever experience.

I will do. I bought the frame second hand and the components will be likewise. I'll be building it on a really tight budget. It's a completely new venture and right now i'm still not sure i've done the right thing - i don't want it to be a slave of labels or HHSB whatever it's called. Right now all i'm thinking is radially lacing the front rim to balance out the sloping top tube and stem and bars to give a more nose down look without sacrificing practicality. Tough ask, if i can't do that i'll probably move it on and resort back to type - i'm already uncomfortable with how shiny the thing is :S
Anyone hazard a guess at the bars Mickey Mouse is using above?

I've just bought a Vigorelli - totally uncharted territory for me as i've always had older bikes. It's a difficult frame to get looking right in my opinion, the sloping top tube completely messes with the flow of it.
Unfamiliar with modern components so would ask if anyone knows the make and model of this saddle?

In the interest of clarity and keeping us all safe i've taken some further pictures, honestly, it doesn't look pretty to me but i'm a straight shooter and i'd prefer to put it out there warts and all see if this is salvageable - i don't feel i can make that call, as such i'll leave the initial price as is but with very much an 'under review' footnote.

Roy Swinnerton track bike, Reynolds 531, 54.5cm seat tube, 54.5cm top tube - both CTC.
As you can see the frame has rust in it, i'd guess it dates from the late 70's, original paint, decals it's got a lot of character but please make your own call on condition.
Components:
Cinelli 1a stem and Cinelli Criterium bars (40cm) in good shape.
Campagnolo chainset 170 Strada
Campagnolo Super Record seat post 27.2
Mismatched wheels, Mavic clinchers, Campagnolo front hub (looks to be a converted road hub), rear hub of undetermined origin, viliers cog.
Michelin tyres, front will need replacing.
The saddle's a Turbo and is serviceable but long overdue it's retirement.
There are no pedals with the bike.Needs a bit of TLC and a new saddle and tape along with a good clean up, it oozes character but that might not be for everyone.
Based in Bristol for local pick up or can post at cost if there's any interest.
