You can get it unlocked legit if you take it to O2. Then you get to kick them in the balls too. Just because.

There's been loads of grey area bullshit from O2 about this, but officially yes, you can take it into an O2 store and get it unlocked. Sometimes they try and claim that the handset has to be over a year old to unlock it. Tell them they're a bunch of baboons and demand that they unlock it.

Don't jailbreak unless its a last resort, it works great but it can be oh so easy to fuck yourself up with an accidental software update in the future. HTH.

I have only had 1 epic hatred post about Unipak/Creates and everything that goes wrong with them. I have had 5 threads of which ive had hippy merge one and VB merge one (im quite proud of those odds!). One was a funny wanted thread for the last missing days we lost cause of the 'bad days', but that was before you youngin' time. Most of my actual posts are rubbish except the ones about me falling over.

That's hilarious, and the general impression I get from browsing is that there is a core of 'useful' posters, and a bunch of sheep, like me, that digest their offerings, and offer pithy comments in return, some of which are helpful, most of which are just distractions...
