I just want to say a massive thanks to anyone who's bothered to wish me well, offer help or generally be supportive. I'm new to Brighton and I don't know loads of people here so it means a massive amount to me.

Been back at work this week, possibly a bit soon. Generally been useless, feeling incredibly lethargic and aching but because I've been here less than six months I don't get any sick pay apparently so I just couldn't afford to be off any longer. Lots of weird pains surfacing each day. My right arm is caning at the moment, as is my left knee. Neck still sore from whiplash.

However, in two bits of great news that I just heard:

1. Olly Jefcott, forum member and solicitor extraordinaire is going to take my case on against this driver. It's fucking ace to have a forumenger on side for this and I feel really positive about it. If it comes off EVERYONE is invited to beers on me, I promise.

2. I wrote to Tel who sells a lot of dutch frames because I was really after converting a Gazelle Super Mondial at some point. Told him that I don't have cash right now but would he keep his eye out for me. Not only has he found me a mint early 90's super, he's arranged for it to be delivered to me this Monday and has said I can pay him when I have the funds. This is almost mind boggling brilliant: it'll give me something to do at home and it's cheered me up no end.

What a legend.
