For me as a pathetic spectateur, the best stage, and by best I mean the stage with climbs and flats and team dynamics, was the stage that first saw Bradley Wiggins defend his jersey and Marc Madiot shout Pinot to the finish. If you have time, it's well worth a rewatch

Very very happy for Wiggo. After reading his defence in the Guardian to the criticisms and suspicion around drugs, I really started to warm to him. He's very passionate and I hope to christ he's clean. Historic and inspiring.

Also, Cadel has been awesome this tour. He seems like a completely quality bloke and he seemed to give everything he could.

Special mention to Pinot again, very exciting prospect for the Frenchies.

I got into work and smashed it out, then smashed through some people on the tube and got on the Col de District line, the driver smashed it through Tower Hill so i got off and smashed it up the Etape du Fenchurch Street escalator. Got on the Team C2C train and cried my eyes out, got off rung the Mrs, cried, then run home and smashed the sprint stage. Got in and smashed my dinner, then went to the garage, smashed the lock, lifted the door to find my crappy Carrera smashed to bits due to some dodgy welding. So went indoors and smashed the back doors off the Mrs. Smashing!

An absolute beast green Columbus Air tubed geared beauty on the street down to the Old Market in Hove. Was running to work, late as usual, seemed to be unbranded as I ran past. Never seen anything like it. If it's someone on here, it's fucking incredible and I love it.

The word 'pilotage' opposed to 'steering' represents nicely the difference between the French and the English approach to cycling. And why have we not always had monocoque construction in cranksets? I assume there's a basic weight/stiffness formula but I'd like to see it and then not understand it.
