not really posting this as a 'find' but dunno where else to put it...
anyone had any experience with these frames? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280501851816&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en
obviously they're not gonna be very good, heavy, ugly, but for a cheap beater sort of 'track' frame... not buying one, just curious
especially once you whack on the shipping comes to like 130.

And a Look that looks like it may go cheapish...http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Look-2001-Carbon-Fibre-road-bike-/280504394420?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item414f5d62b4#ht_916wt_1165

Yeah, he realises that, but he's 20, and just ran his first marathon (Brighton) in 14mins off olympic qualifying. The olympics is like a mad dream but he wants to see if theres an event that perhaps suits him a bit better. He likes cycling and swimming so though he'd give triathlon a crack, only problem is his lack of appropriate bike.

My flatmate is considering training for triathlon for the 2012 olympics, but needs to complete a recognised event first. He has nearly set the qualifying time for a marathon but wants to see if he is better suited to the 3 events.
He has entrusted the task of finding a suitable bike, and i was just wondering if anyone on here had any advice on what to look for?
I presented him with the idea of riding my LOOK KG381, but he wasn't sure if that was a good idea, and to be honest i dont know either.
Any help/offers would be greatly appreciated.
cheers
'Loin
