I saw a hint somewhere that Bjorn may not have completed the CP3 parcours properly. Something about his tracker data suggested that his blown tyre happened on the way down - he turned and walked back up without ever reaching the bottom of the climb. That would be grim news after what he's been through and I hope he's got some other proof - photos or somesuch.

Some interesting snippets here, especially re. Thomas Dupin & Rene Bonn : https://www.transcontinental.cc/racereport/2018/8/7/race-report-8-tcrno6

Another one to add to the forum represent : @JasonWSM is cap 106 - on the way to CP3 and doing well with frequent upbeat tweets.

Am I right in thinking they're aiming for the road (labelled 14) that heads North up to the Polish border near Harrachov, some distance West of CP3? That looks like the only sensible way to get to the foot of the parcours. There seems to be very little in it between the leaders' routes, to my inexpert eye.

I think most folks here accept that a catastrophic diamond-hard brexit is a likely, even the most likely, outcome right now. Can you explain why this would be in any way desirable, in terms of economics, social cohesion, national security, the environment, or any other important respect? Then explain exactly how this might represent the clear Will of the People, in late 2018/early 2019? You know, for the benefit of the whole picture.

Is there any reason why 3-speed BSR standard range hub internals can't be fitted to a wide range shell (and vice-versa)? Mrs Clownfish wants to go all black edition style, but black hubs only seem to come in the BWR version and she doesn't fancy that (or the derailleur gubbins for 6 speed), whereas I'm happy to swap but stay silver.
I suppose a pot of black paint is the other option.
