Made it back to Wandsworth with only one mechanical failure en route (necessitated taking the front cranks off - yikes). Oscar fell asleep about half way home. The recumbent and pedal straps held him in place fairly well but his head was lolling all over the place.
Thanks for organising, Clefty and everyone, we really enjoyed ourselves despite the drenching at the beginning. Lovely to meet you all and hope to see you soon. Possibly also riding fixed if I can fathom the chain-fitting.

Very much looking forward to seeing you all. As I'll be on a massive tandem with a 5 tr old in tow, happy to stay at the rear and be left behind. Will hopefully catch up at ice cream stop or hammersmith.
And FINALLY built my fixed this week, so next time can be properly in the groove. (except haven't put the chain on yet - bit daunted - will be seeking tips)

Yay. Count me in then if I'm welcome on the tandem!
It looks like this http://www.bike123.com/images/Hase%20Pino%203.jpg except white and with cranks are set back so the crazy 5-year-old can pedal too. We're quite easy to spot...!

I can't join for the whole ride and can't ride fixed (will have 5 year old in tow), but if you post the route, we can swing by on our tandem and say hi.
Definitely count me in next time though. My fixed should be built within the next couple of weeks. (Although I seem to have been saying that for several couple of week blocks already..).
Have met a couple of you at the track. Would be good to put some more names to faces.

Hiya. I'd like to join you sometime, if I may. Possibly for a ride out to Hillingdon and a spot o' racing at the end of October. Maybe RP too.
I'd wear an imperial purple waterproof. Unless it clashes with the shoes I'm wearing...
I try not to go out in weather requiring waterproofs if I can help it. Live in the wrong country..!
Anyone able to get to the south London R(ichmond)P? Thinking of going for a spin later. Geared

hi all
LOVED the track session yesterday!
and definitely on for weekend ride on road bike and possibly some evening circles round the park
so fired up after yesterday i've been thinking about getting a fixed-gear...
(usually takes me about a year for such thoughts to be turned into actions, mind!)
hope to see y'all for ride soon
jenny
Yes to gals drinks and/or south drinks, which I've thought about going along too but have so far always chickened out of. And very definite yes to Brighton visit - also geared. Too many bumps..
