I've been pretty satisfied with them over the years, but one thing I have noticed recently is some strange behaviour with their stock numbers. I added a saddle with four units in stock to my cart but didn't order because I wanted to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything and then went to bed. The next morning it was out of stock. I actually emailed them about it and the response a few days later was basically just 'you're out of luck, our inventory is real time'. Fortunately, about 12 hours after I received that email, two units came back into stock and I was able to get the saddle, but something weird is definitely going on with their stock-tracking.
Other than that, no complaints aside from the shipping to Canada being high - but that's no different from most other European stores, and it works out to be much cheaper overall than QBP monopoly pricing anyway. It is also nice that I seem to never be hit with customs on orders from them.

Thanks for the kind words. I haven't weighed the current build yet, but in the pictured iteration it was about 7.1 kilograms. It has some practicalities that add weight - a bell, Hexlox everywhere (including their security nuts, which are large), big tires, helicopter tape - so in 'race trim' it might well be sub-7.

As goofy and lame as they are, that Mash stem actually looks pretty good on this bike.

If the price of the frame is not going to set you back massively financially, I think you should just buy it. You mentioned in the Mielec thread that you're young, so if there's a time in your life that you should be riding a bike like this, it should probably be now, before you develop the assorted aches and pains that will drive you towards a gravel or touring bike. It'll have the look you want and you'll learn what you like and what you dislike about the geometry.

@Sainsburys_Ed @xavierdisley I appreciate the guidance - I'll look into some shims. Thanks!
