As my fifties approach faster than I care to think about, it's heartening to know that you're out there and thinking about racing competitively. Gives me hope that I might be able to do the same (if I can stick to some sort of training programme of course).

Got a stuck seat post on a crappy old frame I was gonna build up for some practice before attempting a build with a decent frame. What a cool way to get rid of the damn nuisance thing.

Hi, got introduced to the world of fixed gear by a mate from work whose a member. Just bought a nice 70's 531db frame and gathering the necessary bits and pieces to build it up. Looking forward to getting it on the road.
