My mate works for St John's Ambulance and he abandoned his race to help her #selfless
She knocked herself clean out and had no idea where she was or why she was there, which obviously isn't a great sign. She was very confused and a bit delirious. The ambulance took her to a local hospital for checks and so on, but I think they expect she'll be ok. She may have broken ribs too. So not great, but not life threatening either.
I guess that's why it was shortened to 45 mins?

Looks like the Hope brakes and TT extensions have sold too. Thanks LFGSS. #pricedtosell :)

Excuse the somewhat eclectic mix of stuff here, but I've got a few bits and bobs that no longer have a place in my life. So here's the mini jumble:
I'm in Kent so add a couple of quid for postages or I'll be at the remaining rounds of the summer series cross league (all being well).
Hope V-Twin disc brake system (works with usual cable pull road shifter/levers). I used it with Campag levers and TBH never really got it to set up very well. Meant to work well with Shimano or SRAM systems though. Complete with 160mm Hope 6 bolt rotors and brackets, Torx bolts and bracket to secure the hydraulic reservoirs under your stem. I've given it a clean, but it was used on a CX bike so hard to get "as new". Front pads need replacing, rears have "meat" on them, but the steel brake pad carriers have some rusting so they may need replacing too. >£325 new, £70 the lot.
Shimano Dura Ace 10 speed TT shifters. Little use, but they have those odd swirly marks they always tend to develop on these shifters. What causes these btw? £20.
3T ergo J bend TT bars. Alloy, uncut with little end caps to tidy up the gear cable exit points. £7.
Specialized 100mm stem. Clever shim thingy to give a massive range of different rise/fall angles. Great for trying different positions before spending big dough on "that special stem". £7. (Provisionally sold).
Specialized Jett Gel women's saddle, 143mm width. £7.
FSA mountain bike crankset with 36/22 rings 175mm. Very little use before I replaced it with a 170mm. Fits Shimano Hollowtech II BBs. £20.
I've got a Shimano R500 rear wheel that I used on the turbo bike for a while gathering dust in the garage too. It's done a handful of miles on the road and is in great nick. An ideal training/turbo wheel. £25.
PM me if interested in anything. Thanks, Damian. Pics:

I rode the bike leg for a team in the EtonMan Middle Distance Tri yesterday. Hats off to those who do all 3 disciplines but the bike leg was more than enough for me, mainly as I'd drown in the lake. Predicted I'd ride 2 hrs 30 mins (expecting better conditions) and my official time for the bike leg was 2:29:59 so I wasn't far off. Tough day with a constant cross wind that felt like a constant head wind. Did it on a road bike with no aero stuff, so pleased to record 4th fastest bike time against the sea of £10k mega-tri-sleds. Pleased with my 272w average too and to take us from 53rd to 5th, which my running mate held on to. And we raised some cash for charridy which was the main aim.

You stalking me?! ;0) Yep all spot on. The front wheel is a Reynolds MV32C.
Bike now all ready to roll, just need to tape the bars. Looks pretty gash with aero bars but the fit is very good. mm perfect compared to my now sold TT bike.
Toe overlap is considerable though which I expect will cause me issues given that this is obviously fixed. Must remember not to do tight turns.

Nut and bolt fixing. How tight should it be? I've fitted my first one today and went pretty tight with the screw as I certainly don't want it coming undone whilst in use, but the link is now noticeably stiffer than the others. I guess it will loosen up with time, but what are other people's experiences here? Thanks.

Yeah I can't imagine it's an easy task. I'm not finger pointing as they do a great job of organising just saying I'm checking with unhealthy regularity!
