This thread has served me well I the past and here I am again!
This time I'm steering the chat back to induction hobs, I want to get rid of the cooker hood so I'm looking at induction hobs with integrated extraction. I know there's loads written about these but has anyone got one they can give real world feedback on.
Sub £2k budget so not domino hobs money.

I had to pull my cat Jaffa and a neighbour cat apart this morning whilst they were tearing chunks out of each other.
Jaffa is a big boy and from my wife's information he started it. She screamed upstairs for me whilst I was on a work call I promptly abandoned.
Ran downstairs and outside and found Jaffa pinning the other cat, yanked him up and he had tufts of fur in his claws. His breakaway collar had worked and was lying on the floor and our front lawn was covered in clumps of fur. Three Jaffa clumps to about 25 other cat tufts based on colour.
I brought him in and then had to see off neighbour cat with a mop whilst it tried to start on me. Luckily my 85 year old ex forces neighbour came out to back me up with a golf club to see the intruder off (we did not touch the cat just shooed away with implements).
Jaffa has been eating all day but subdued and with a limp, I've cleaned the small cut on his rear paw which is his only visible injury. I assume he may have sprained this paw hence the limp.
I don't know what else to do for the guy but he looks so sorry for himself!

Can I get some practical advice for the prevention and cure of saddle sores? types of plasters to use to strap yourself up, lotions and potions, whatever tips you have got?
My friend is signed up for Trans Pyrenees and it's her first ultra, she's been doing lots of long days of training but it's the saddle sores making her think twice about the event.
She's been through lots of saddle trial and error but as we all know the saddle sores get lots of people eventually!
Thanks in advance.

Watch "Aaaaaaaah!" (2015).
Don't read about it first, go in cold. It's a thriller, it's weird but good.
