Late notice perhaps but I need a bike bag to borrow. Would buy one but 90 quid seems a bit steep for something I will use once.
Going to Aus on Monday and need my bike there. Will be gone for 6 weeks so back on the 15th of September. I will gladly pay a small fee for this favour.
I live in Hackney by the way.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Therese at Bike Yard East for being amazingly helpful over the last few months with my minor problems and helping me build up my Cinelli. Very fun to talk to as well and very helpful regarding openness and advice. Lovely.
Also a guy at CycleSurgery at Spitalfields who is very nice and also helpful, almost bought some white cycling shoes, before I changed my mind. Thank god. Nice chap though!

Bought a pair of Sidi Dominators of the bay for cheap. They were cheap because the owner clipped one of the shoes in to the pedal while I guess it was not on the bike. The cleat is quite loose so when I try to manually unclip the shoe it just slides the cleat a bit and it does not unclip.
This is obviously a huge problem as I was excited about riding clipless for the first time ever ( and falling over ).
Any advice/tips/tricks would be appreciated.
It has a single release mode.

This should work.
I could have sworn I posted this earlier - I'm not sure whether it was submitted and deleted or whether I had a senior moment. If there's a problem with my advertising this, please let me know. I had not intended to infringe upon any of the rules.
On offer here is my 19" (54cm equivalent) medium-sized Pearson Hanzo with the following specification:
I'll take £250 from anyone who can collect from New Mills or central Manchester.
It will be £300 (including postage) for anyone who insists I post it. That bit extra reflects the time and trouble to lug a bike box home, as well as fully insured postage.Miche track hubs on open pro rims
Front tektro dual pivot brake. (Rear brake is not fitted, can be supplied).
48t x 16t fixed gear
Mudguards (reflector snapped off the rear)
Butted chromoly 19" frame - this is the medium size, somewhere near 54cm equivalent.
ITM Racer handlebars
Kona 110 mm stem
Kona aluminium seatpost
Vittoria 700c x 23mm tyres of some description.I was knocked off the bike late last year and although the bloke from the bike shop near work said he would still ride it, I would change the handlebars and the brake levers (one of them got mangled). Otherwise the bike is completely unscathed - my elbow broke it's fall!
The bike has the regular marks and scrapes from the rigours of commuting. It's still on it's original drive train which I can only guesstimate as covering 3-4k. *Complete with SPD pedals, I had it weighing in at approx 9.6kg.
I would rather not post. Can possibly deliver in the north west or take on a reasonably priced return train journey.

Went from London Heathrow to Sydney via Singapore. Flew with Singapore airlines.
Decided to take my least loved bike with (Charge Pluge) in case it all went wrong.
Bought a Pinnacle bike bag from Evans for 90 quid and asked if I could have the cardboard box it came in. Was a bitch to get it home but ripped the box to create some extra support. All in all it weighed in at about 16 kg's. Not too bad considering I had put some extra clothing in it as well.
Getting to the airport was shit but it suffered no damage on the way there. Used it to cycle around Sydney for 2 months, and when I got back to London one of the wheel bags had ripped so that the qr for the front wheel had bent. I signed a form on the way back, which meant that all liability was with myself ( I did not have to sign such a thing on the way there and on the way back I could not really fathom the thought of having to leave my bike behind or having it shipped so I did it anyway).
Took a hammer to the qr and it went back into place, it is not as good as it used to be but they aren't very expensive to replace so I am not too bothered.
All in all I was quite pleased, I am now considering taking my Cinelli with on the train to The Netherlands.
PS: This be the bag.
