I am trying this

Virgin superhub 3 (in modem mode) bottom ethernet port > USG WAN1
USG LAN1 > Unifi switch 8 port 1
Pi running Unifi controller > Unifi switch 8 port 1
AP PoE > Unifi switch 8 port 5

I can see everything on the controller, but get no internet connection from the hub to the USG

I get internet by connecting RPi to hub directly and disconnecting the USG

I've moved the LAN Gateway IP/Subnet from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.99.1 and I've attached some screenshots of my settings in the likely case I am doing something stupid

When I connect a virgin superhub in modem mode to a USG do I need a straight through cable or a crossover?

That pullman tin is just aluminium. I wiped a little vegetable oil on and it came straight out.

First attempt at a pullman loaf was about 60% full, second attempt used 1.1kg of flour and is almost there!

This is true but the pastoral support is next to zero.If you compare my sister (maths) at Oxford, with me (maths, mechanical engineering and a joint course at the RCA) and brother at imperial (physics) it's 2 opposite experiences.

Geology or geophysics department is an exception with active pastoral support. Lots of people like it, but some see it as too much personal meddling.

I think that Imperial prepares you for life by slamming you, Oxford prepares you with a slowly slowly catch the monkey approach.

A: We've a recipe on our resources page for a 33x10x10 pullman link. This can be scaled up. A 40x12x12 is 2.5x greater by volume. So, use this recipe and increase by 1.7x (you can use our dough calculator for that if you like) link. You will need to bake for longer to ensure baked right through.
