Size of bike you need (or your height at least)would help.
The pic. is of a road bike.I have this this if you are not set on drop handle bars
Specialised Hybrid
Nice light alloy frame, was my winter commuter so has full mudguards and rack,I can probably sort you out with some lights if you are stuck, but would need to check at the back of the shed.
After £75.
I work in Mill Hill so I can get it to Golders Green easily enough.
Good Luck with your search

This was my daughters, but she now has a Specialised Dolce as her best bike and this is too good to take to uni.

Reynolds 531 Frame and forks (probably plain gauge) it rides really nicely.

Wheels upgraded to a pair of my old ones.
36h Campag Athena screw on 7 speed ,double butted ss spokes on Mavic open sport rims –they have done more miles than the bike, but are still have lots of life left.
The bike is early 1980’s and was stored for many years before we found it.
The wheels are a tight fit in the frame resulting in some loss of paint on the dropouts, the chrome on the forks is a little dull and the handle bar covering is just starting to deteriorate.
The pedals are on the new bike, but I probably have a something cheap and cheerful if needed.
Still a nice bike and a gorgeous colour with lovely box liningWe would like £150 ONO and are based near Wembly(Sudbury Hill is the nearest tube although happy to meet at Northwick Park or Greenford Stations)
Any questions or more pics. Needed let us know.

These are pretty hard to beat for the price
http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/vittoria-rally-tubular/
These are pretty hard to punture
http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/tufo-s33-pro-24mm-tubular/
both have an extra 20% discount at the moment.
I don't know how many miles you are doing a year, but I would be more than happy with a puncture a year !
They aren't that difficult to replace

or even repair

I save up mine and repair them in winter,it can be quite therapeutic .
Good Luck !

Hi,
I have a virtually unused Campag 980 derailleur, works amazingly well for an econo design.
Can post for £20 or if you can collect from SOAS (Russel Square)Thurs/Fri working hours £15.
I may have a cheap and cheerful Shimano you can have for free/postage but I can't get to my box of "too good to through away " parts at the back of the shed of doom until Sunday to check. -

Hi,
Might help if you say where you are based?
I have lots of ladders(not trying to show off) near Wembly (UB6)
The medium version of these3.4m long when used as a ladder and will fit in the boot of most cars.
Also have long ladders but you will need a roof rack to carry these.
or a friend with a bike
you can borrow either for as long as you need(within reason)
Good Luck

All three 700c and un used.
Pair of Wolber Cross SuperAnd one Vittora completion Mastercross.
The Wolbers are excellent, but the Vittora was my spare and is older than the Wolbers. It is starting to perish between the treads. Still holds air but consider it a freebe with the two wolbers.
£25 collected near Wembly or I may be able to meet near Russell Square. -

I have an EG Bates frame set (near Wembly-may be able to meet central) 23"
http://www.sheldonbrown.com/org/bates.html
Just back from the enamelers,Sadly due to a cock up on their part it has Horace Bates transfers fitted. I was going put a panel on the down tube in a contrasting colour and fit correct transfers or just live with it until it needed painting again (a couple of years for my winter bike)
After £185 for it.If your O.K with the price I'll take some pics. and post them up.
Cheers
