I unfortunately got sideswiped today by a riding buddy and wrote off my brand new rear Hyperon Ultra 2 Tubular wheel.

The front survived totally unscathed, but the rear ground its way along a curb edge along with my ribs, elbow and bum!

Includes skewer, which again is totally unmarked but no tubular. The rim bed is completely clean. I used a hair dryer to remove the tubular this afternoon and since it was stuck with Tufo tape, it came off completely cleanly.

Absolutely unmarked. You would not tell this wheel from brand new.

Perfect if you have written off your front or want a super light low profile front wheel to accompany a deep section rear (how very pro!).

£600 posted or can meet up in London. Need funds to put towards new pair as it is as cheap and quicker than waiting for a replacement rim.

58cm standard geometry (57cm ctrctr with the Pegoretti dropped top tube).

Like new. Fully oiled and treated internally.

Avoid a huge wait and a huge cost (finish and forks are a significant up charge).

It is a standard 58cm. In Pegoretti terms that means a 57cm ctr-ctr seat tube as he builds with a dropped top tube.

I am 6ft 1.5in and it fits me perfectly. I run a 78.5cm ctr bb to top of saddle measurement and a 12cm stem if it helps in the pictures.

I also run quite a high front end so there is plenty of steerer on the forks.

No idea why. All of his frames have band on front mechs and separate seat clamps. I guess steel tubing is drawn so thin these days that it makes brazing mid tube a bit tricky, but couldn't tell for sure.

No, it is getting replaced with something grey and titanium. At least still a metal!

Everything was an extra on this build!

Very much priced to sell.

Thanks for the comments though. It is nice but I recently bought a Responsorium so this was first in line to go.

No marks from seat post clamp, so the carbon is structurally perfect. However, I used Tacx carbon paste which has left a matte effect where the seatpost was inserted. Absolutely unmarked above insertion point 15cm below saddle rails.

It is indeed a very nice frame. To get anywhere near this from Mercian nowadays would be over £800 with no headset, stem or bars. The King was over £100 on its own plus includes a spare top assembly which was £45 a few weeks back.

The bb is English, but not included. I am taking the groupset and wheels off to use on the new frame.

The respray alone cost £250, so somebody is going to get a bargain!

Thought this would have been snapped up.

If the problem is the price, somebody make me a realistic offer.
