Have a bump !
That's a good price for the frame and forks.
I think the T Mobile team Omnium was the best looking of all the paint jobs and they build up in to really light stiff track bikes.
When one of our riders had their bike weighed in Melbourne at the Commonwealth games it was so under weight we had to steal some lead flashing off a roof roll it up an stick it in the seat tube to add the extra to pass the bike check.
Very pretty !

No small flange ones left in 32 but would large flange ones be any good for you ?
Drop me a PM if they are.

The 2013 Wheel deal continues.... now opened out to every one !
Carbon Deep section race wheels
These wheels are the 2012 Deep section carbon race wheel demonstrators and have been used less than 4 times on indoor velodromes.
They have new old stock 28 hole Shimano Dura Ace 7600 large flange hubs built in to 60mm Carbon Gigantex rims with Sapim CX-Ray(Black )spokes with Polyax nipples .
The tubulars are new Vittoria Crono CS properly stretched and glued on by experts for use on a steep board track.
They are available at replacement cost if required.
They come in red Mavic Wheel bags. There are some more snaps here :
https://picasaweb.google.com/trackkitforsale/2013WheelDealDuraAceTrackWheelDemonstrators#
Can be delivered to any Scottish Velodrome for 600 GBP or posted at cost.
They make your track bike look nice !
PM me if interested or you need more info.
For comparison you can get the similar wheels with formula hubs 20/24 spokes and FF decals for GBP870 from wiggle .
This was the reasoning behind the 'Wheel Deal"....
Modern Spokey Race wheels for hard track or board velodromes.
Aim:
To build a set of carbon tubular track wheels with either 28 or 32 spokes at a reasonable cost.
These wheels give all the advantage of an aerodynamic deep section rim (60mm) hand built with a top quality ball bearing hub with the low rolling resistance of tubular tyres.
The slightly increased spoke count gives a stiffer yet compliant wheel with a slightly lower spoke tension that is more damage resistant than a 16 or 20 spoke factory built wheel. They are also safer in the event of collision or impact damage during a race than a clincher / HP wheel.
Recommended tubulars are,
Conti Podium TT for asphalt hard tracks, Vittoria Crono CS or Conti 165 / 175 Sonderclasse for smooth cement or outdoor wooden tracks and Vittoria Pista CS or Crono CS for indoor velodromes. -

I have some Sachs free wheels that are surplus to requirements.
They are the 8 speed variant with a choice of 12 to 19 "straight through" and 12 to 18 with a 20T large sprocket.
In very good condition with all the cogs loose on the free wheel body.
This is the only way to use your screw on hubs with recent STI / Ergo power levers.

Loss actually ..... £ 83
Valid discussion, some back ground might be interesting….. it is a forum after all !
I am involved with quite a few track riders and have been so over a long time.
I have a club slush fund that I use to buy used equipment for the club and other riders use.
This lets me buy things when they come up at a good price with out having to think about raising cash, can I afford, can Lulu ask her dad for the money and will the seller keep it till next month and all that stuff .This allows them to use decent kit appropriate to their level and experience with out having to worry about buying it or trashing it when it's loaned out. For riders that want to buy the kit I have obtained there is a "buy back scheme" which involves them getting it at the price I paid for it on the condition that when they no longer need it or are using it I get first option to "buy it back " for the club equipment inventory. Its a good system and has worked well for the last 20 years or so .
Looking through the Kit list these wheels have an interesting entry :
Bought in June 2011 £450 plus postage
Used by JD , DM, CW, PT , LH EB and club sparesScottish track champs@MSC , Herne Hill Derny champs, Dudley GP,
Alkmaar track meeting , Colarado ( Spares) Scottish track champs@GLASince then the wheels have had :
New rear Zipp allen bolt caps to replace to ones "modified"by Angle grinder £ 12
New front and rear bearings and professional fitting £ 30 ( done by D.M. )
Two Bladed spoke replacements ( frozen nipple when tightened and trued ) £ 6
New Zipp Decals £12New Tyres fitted :
Vittoria Pista CS £ 33
Conti Tempo 22 £ 50
Properly glued on with 3 + 1 coats of Mastic one cement £ 20£163 costs
So the cost of ownership since june 2011 is £ 613
Selling them for £ 550 and LFGSS Forum donation £20 = a loss of £ 83
They are good wheels , I would sell them to some one in ur club or another rider I knew, but they are all waiting for the next sets !

** I have some surplus track wheels for sale.
First are a pair of Zipp wheels,
Rear disc and front 55mm deep section 24 spoke wheel.
The rear Zipp is a 900 series carbon disc spaced for 120mm rear drop outs with allen key bolts. It takes standard Dura Ace fixed cog for 42mm chain line and if so inclined you can fit a a screw on freewheel on the other side of the wheel.
New bearings have just been fitted to this wheel as one of the older ones was getting a bit rough, it now spins almost forever .It has been well used but not abused and has one small superficial ding that has been filed properly with carbon / epoxy resin.
This wheel has a new Continental Tempo tubular fitted.
The front is a Zipp 440 55mm deep carbon rim with 24 bladed spoke on a Zipp carbon barreled hub.
It comes with a new Vittoria CS Pista tubular fitted .
The front weighs 1048grammes and the rear is 1282 with tyres and 10 bar pressure in them
The wheels come with padded Zipp wheel bags.
They would be good hard track race wheels or indoor TL race wheels.
Ready to race on right out of the bags for GBP 550 delivered to the Velodrome !

**Rear Dura Ace 7600 hub for sale **
I have a rear 36 hole Dura Ace 7600 large flange track hub that is now surplus to requirements.
It's in pretty good condition, the bearings are smooth and it's never been outside in the wet.
Ideally I would like to exchange it for front Dura Ace 7600 large flange track hub in either 28, 32 or 36 holes but realise that's a real long shot, but please let me know if you have one.
Other wise £70 posted in the UK to the first offer of cash .

Some perhaps remember the Veloriders forum with chainset sale involving "light scuffing" on the crank arms that turned out to be significantly more than that, not that I am for a moment insinuating anything untoward in this offer for sale.
The other thing is that some of the photographs in the for sale threads would not look out of place in a fine art catalog and folk get used to that kind of detail and artistic quality. Your single snap was a bit small at 16K or so when I down loaded it for a closer look.
Looking forward to the big picture as it were !
