I am sorting through the chainset parts bin and have picked out the items for sale .

All the cranks are in pretty good condition with no cracks ( threw 2 of them out ... ) obviously been used but no problems with any of the threads or tapers .

All the bracket sets are in excellent condition having only been used in the dry and come with new ball bearings .

There are:
Campagnolo record cranks in 151 BCD £120
Miche primato cranks are 170mm with the 135 BCD , £35
SR Royal cranks are 170mm and 144 BCD £45
The Miche Advanced cranks are 165 and 144 BCD these are like new £ 60
Let me know if you need a ring to go with the cranks as there may be a reduced combined cost .

The headset in the picture is the last steel campag one in the parts bin and is a Campagnolo 1040/A, Gran Sport as described by velobase here:

Its in excellent condition BUT the top nut has some superficial pitting in the chrome and would need some attention consequently asking just £40 and a wee bit for the postage once SideshowBob has considered it .

is it just the cranks or do you need the bracket and ring as well ?

The Campaign Pista headsets have all gone but there are some Gran sport ones which are identical other than the top screwed race having two flats rather than a hexagonal flats .

Which one the Shimano 600 or the Rudelli ?

Would a Shimano 600 headset do the job , it does not look as if its very sealed ....

I have one or the roller bearing "Rudelli " ones

Crown and steerer are aluminium, if you have access to a pillar drill and a HSS or cobalt bits its a 10 min job.

If you have a decent LBS they can do it, I would take a tenner, your milage may differ !

Have you though of getting them drilled for a brake ?

Its usually pretty quick and easily done on the Dolan / Alpina forks .

These are new unused old stock shoes by Specialized, they are part of the "Body Geometry" series which are advertised as having a more anatomical / comfortable and efficient fit .

Charcoal and silver finish with Glass fibre reinforced sole with fittings for both SPD-SL, SPD-R and SPD cleats . Quick fit and very comfortable with three wide velcro fixing straps .

My camera has gone "missing", so some low resolution camera phone snaps of the hubs on the kitchen chopping block .

They are really quite nice, if I had some nice rims I would rebuild these !

I am going through the spare hub box and have just found a lovely Campag record hub for a screw on block with the QR skewer . It ticks when its spun !

I have surplus to requirements a pair of Dura Ace HB 7600 large flange single sided track hubs with wheel nuts and lock ring.

These were lightly built up in to demonstration wheels with low tension for a show bike and never used. They are in almost as new condition with just the slightest spoke marks on the flanges.

I have a pair of Gigantex 50mm glossy carbon rims for tubulars, was going to build with a pair of sheriff star track hubs but will sell separatly if you are going to use tubulars .
