Also, what's the thoughts on Wednesday polo? will people be too wrecked from the velodrome this week. Maybe just start at 8 on Thursday for this week and move it to Wednesday from next week?

Right, I know this should technically go in a different thread, but they're all full of people i don't know. Just realised I have tomorow off n the weather looks alright so am gonna go for a ride, prob max 60 miles or summat, dunno where yet. If anyone's free n bored (thinking students and the unemployed here), gimme a yell if you feel like coming.

Only cooked brain once, rinsed in water loads then fried in a pan with onion and stuff. Taste was nice enough. Texture was really graphically like eating brain. not convinced tbh.
On the flourless cake front, chocolate roulade's amazing. pain in the ass to make tho, so kinda limitted to special occasions.

You know the recent disrupted sessions at the NCP - do you think they know what times/days we always play now? Perhaps we should make our target moveable...???
yeh, i agree. i reckon sunday's are prob still ok cause there's so much empty space there's not really anyone to complain, n sundays can be abit unpredictable anyway. thursdays should maybe move though.

Today, pre polo nationals organising meeting at starbucks on oxford rd (the one nearest chester st). meeting starts at 4, it'd be good if people could aim to be there about quarter to so it can start on time. do people reckon it's worth deciding a chair in advance (if we're gonna need one) so we don't waste time doing that as well?
obviously, followed by polo. So to the lists.
Sunday, In.

Earlier today, stopped at a traffic light in didsbury. posh looking middle aged woman with a buggy is waiting to cross the road. she turns to me and says:
"So do i go when these lights (gestures at green and red man) are on green or red?"
"Urm green..."
"Oh thanks, i don't normally go out without the car so i wasn't sure"you mean the whole red man/green man, standing man/walking man, noisy beeping etc wasn't enough of a clue?!
