Pickup from N8 – no postage.

So Mrs 5000's scooter was stolen last week and has now turned up smashed to bits on an estate in Gospel Oak.

Presuming that she'll get an insurance write off (it's a 2002 Aprilia Scarabeo 300 so NO parts availabilty) she's on the market for a scooter.

Does anyone want to sell/ know of for sale a decent 125 (or larger - but not maxi style) scooter?

Will be used as a daily year round workhorse and left locked up in the street so nothing collectable or too fragile.

What have you got?

Does it have sliding drop outs?

Does it allow the bike to fold? Yes but not fully - fold as normal - leave the seatpost a bit higher than normal and clamp the child seat to the post - it would stick out a bit.

Easier to just take it off in my experience.

This says 2yrs - 6 years - a great way to get them feeling what it's like to be on a bike and be able to chat in their ear as you're riding. Also simple to unbolt and pop in your bag for when you've done the nursery/ school run with them.

Originally bought at bikefix a few years ago - kids are now too big to use it and have graduated to bigger wheels.

Yes I was thinking the same...next time I will measure 3 times and cut once.

If I need to re-hose my front brake (shimano st-rs505) is there any alternative to spending £20 on an official shimano kit? Smbh 59 jk? £20 for a 45cm long hose seems a bit excessive even if it does include a pair of olives.

Is there a generic alternative?

Sadly no clearance for 38c on my bowman pilgrims. Can just about squeeze 28c with guards on.

Currently running an old pair of pro ones in 25c but am conscious that Winter is coming...

Dt Swiss r 24s + gravel kings @ 70psi = death?

Also - brown wall gravel kings are now in stock.

If I run them tubeless at 70ish psi on proper tubeless ready rims will they explode and kill me?
