I am very interested on 9·5·1 specifications since reynolds doesn't give any info.
My thoughts about paint are red, regarding the city of Stoke on Trent, small amount of British racing
green and some white fillet between them for the purity of the sport.Every comment from Brian on this tubeset will be very interesting.

I fucking love the colour on the 3Rensho.
very close to RAL 9018, mostly used as interior color on tanks
and warships. Traditionally "blended" with high octane molybdenum gasoline
giving a satin finish, if you survive the painting procedure...
Also used in bathroom decoration in 50s, probably the main reason
that many people been costive. The fork bridge on that 3rensho is a piece of art.

It's difficult to recognize the SL tubing without compare it with a known SL frame.
Even then you have a great possibility being wrong depending on your experience
and the choices of the framemaker.
I think that it's better to look for the (size first of all) quality of the parts, the craftsmanship
and the condition of the frame. For instance, traditionally on sl tubesets use lugs with "lilys" but they are common lugs to depend.

also most of the italian builders use italian threaded BB.
If that helps, mine SL frames weight unpainted almost 1670gr the 55x55.5 and 1830gr the 58x56.5
Wearing columbus and gippiemme rear drop outs correspondingly and CNC bridges.I'm not an expert, i just like them.

They reach low enough on my dad's Bob Jackson Andax bike, so it'll definitely fit on the Colnago.
Is it entirely possible to fit Ergolevers with the old 8 speed Chorus?
i'm not sure that i understand your question, you mean with the brakes of the 8sp Chorus
or about the cable stoppers that bolt on down shifters nozzles?any way, both will run smoothly using those
on the nozzles and you will have two switches for opening the brakes.I 'm using the first Veloce ergo 8 with those adjusters, centaur 10 crankset and chain.

I think I'm going to keep it white, just went up to London and back, really comfortable compared to a fixed wheel, now I'm defintely thinking of upgrading to a 2009 Centaur groupset.
keep the brakes they are so nice, after all i think that skeletons doesn't reach low
enough for this frame.
i really like the aligned tires but please get used not messing those gears,
you loose power and parts life... -

The fact that there aren't many titanium forks, tells a lot.
(i 'm just polite, i have never see one)
