The coaches have kindly offered to run a session this coming** Sunday (13 November).** Unfortunately I am helping out at another event down in Southampton so cant make it, but he thinks it will be really beneficial to have a follow on session whilst interest is high. We are just trying to get the feelers out to see how many girls can make it as the coaches are giving up their free time so I want to make sure the turn out is worth it for them.

I will create another FB event.

I feel awful bad for telling people is was cancelled, when I was there for session this morning they were saying no session all day and closed until march. I thought I would be saving people a trip, so sorry.

British cycling advised on paint used for lines and cote d'azur and it's just too slippery when track is damp. Whole section of bank nearest to finishing straight (leftside when you look at track) doesn't get any sun so is not drying out. Thinking is that they are going to try and repaint lines.

Tika. I am going to have to start bmxing with you.

Lines too slippery, they are saying it's closed until march :-( although I would wait for them to confirm this.

Track is cancelled today!!!!

She'll need to take it off. No brakes allowed (the thought of that is slightly terrifying to me).

Trust me much safer with no brakes, you'll love it x

Wiesia, or anyone that knows for sure - my friend has a track bike she wants to use, but currently it has a front brake. will this be allowed on the track, or will she need to take it off??

As the others said NO brakes allowed. It's fine to take the front brake off, but it's pretty manic at the beginning of sessions signing people on and trying to sort hire bikes out so I cant promise that we will have time to help her do this I am afraid. Tell her to come down and if we have time we will and if not she can use a hire bike. The track is being opened especially for the Sunday session so we don't have all the helpers that the Sat sessions have.

Right, I have secured track and coach for SUNDAY 6 NOVEMBER, the session will run from 2-4pm. We have bikes and helmets you can use so you just need to turn up and it does not matter if you have never ridden a track bike before.

I am going to see if we can also to the following week but wont be able to confirm until next week so I thought I would just get a session confirmed.

Pls let me know if you can attend so I have an idea of numbers. Will post more info about what the session will include.

There will NOT be a session this Sunday as its too short notice and you should all be supporting Hell's belles.

We can put one on asap but I need to check the velodrome timetable as there are a few events coming up. I will check what dates are available and get back to you.

If we could get a list of names of people interested hat would help be work out how many coaches we need.

Anyone driving up to this from London? My lift has just failed and train costs fortune.
