I am heading back to Bristol for a mates birthday on Sat 24 October and thought why not ride it! So if any one fancies joining me on the ride from London to Bristol please feel free.

I have never ridden over 85 miles so not sure what the pace will be like, but can imagine fairly steady. Only restriction is that I would ideally like to be back in Bristol by 4pm which means it will be an early start. I am staying in Bristol on Saturday night but Fiddy who is also riding will be training it back to London the same night.

As discussed last night, the pub are willing to possibly do a meal for us each week, though they would need to have numbers in advance.

If there was a post each week with the details of the dish of the day and cost would people be interested in pre ordering food, so by Wednesday evening we could email the pub with numbers?

This pub is truely amazing, next we will be able to take our ironing round for them to do. I love it!

I may be up for it some weeks but can never really get there before 8.30/9ish so I guess that may be a bit too late for them.

Think so as police van turned up literally 5 mins after it happened, was a shame they werent that bit earlier. They said that they had had a call in about a gang of youths wandering round the area.
