No worries on removing the mudguard...what did you use to hold the cable on the inside of the guard?

think I will give the internal routing a go. Thanks for all the advice, I will keep you updated on my efforts when the new build comes together.

Has anyone had any experience mounting a rear dynamo light on a mudguard? Should I route the cable on the inside of the mudguard or down the stay and chain stay? Would look neater under the mudguard but worried about extreme weather conditions and the cable getting soaked day after day......any help would be great.
