After a nice 531 bike for a friend who is quite new to cycling. Must be in good condition and suitable for 5ft2 height. Sub-£200 please. Can collect in London or Oxford / surrounding area, or pay for courier costs from elsewhere. Rack mounts please, and 700c wheel size.
Please message me directly, with photos, if you have something suitable.
Thanks.

Updating the beater with some new old parts.
Q: I have a Shimano 600 hub with a 7-speed Shimano cassette on, the one where the small ring is the lock ring. Will the same hub also accept a 6 speed cassette? Will I need a spacer? Will it fit 8, or is that for 130mm-spaced frames?
Also, if I'm replacing the cassette, chain, and chainrings, should I also replace the rear mech's jockey wheels?

I don't have any hooded ones myself, and the ones I have tried on always seem restrictive (too tight etc). You can just Google "hooded base layer", or try something with a high collar and then use your choice of Buff. It'll be better than a base layer with a hood. Synthetic moves moisture better but will smell after one use and need washing / merino is better for slower riding or multi-day trips or stop/start rides. Icebreaker stuff is a weird fit, so would avoid.

What's the forum feeling on the RS81 C35 at this price? About 150g heavier than the DA 9000 version.

Better than Zondas for £240?
