Ok, I didn't realise the legalities of having to have 2 brakes if running a freewheel. Out of interest, I could possibly get the back drilled for a rear brake or would that not work?

Thanks for the education. Who mentioned about no brakes? I have fitted a front brake as I didn't fancy wearing shoes out.

Hi folks, new to forum so please be kind. I have recently bought a Tifosi Pista CX all new for a steal. I am in the process of upgrading it. So far - changed fixed to a 16t ENO freewheel, Izumi Supertough V Track Chain, just got delivery today of a Royce Titanium BB and getting a Campag Record Pista chainset which should be delivered tomorrow. I would like to know which wheel hub combo people would recommend. Other ancillary bits will be changed at a later date as I am concentrating on drivetrain and wheels first.

Yes, that's the model. I want to gradually upgrade a lot of it but want to start with the transmission as it creaks a little. Ideally I want to ride it with Campag Record Pista cranks and bb and with a decent freewheel as a ss. It has the Miche Advanced cranks and bb at the moment with shimano freewheel. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

The frame is a Tifosi Pista CX with Miche Advanced crankset with shimano freewheel. I want to change the crans to record and change the bb ro campy Pista and change freewheel to eno.

Also was wondering if that combo would work in that frame? Can you tell me the std formula in the database thread Hippy? Is it Crank + bb + hub?

Had a look through and cannot see that combo. Am new to here so please excuse my ignorance. I was thinking of changing the crankset to a Record Pista and Campy bb to match with a Eno freewheel unless anyone can recommend a better freewheel? Awful to ride as it is now.
