Aye, true that Scott. Another (expensive) lesson learned :(
I would have gone with you my friend, but i read your winding down operations?
I had also seen that you had some good words to say about Dan/ Levrier hence my decision to go with them. Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes. :)
Ugh, glad I didn't buy one. Was close a couple of months ago!

No, that's not what I meant about big city and everybody's rushing. More that it's a really, really busy roundabout, I'm sure you know, and I assumed that because people saw you helping the lady, there was simply no need to put themselves in danger to stop in mid-traffic.
Also, people involved in accidents are most likely in shock and don't need 15 people standing over them asking if they are okay. I know it's meant well but that can give the impression that something's really bad.
It's better to have just a few people. One with the injured, one on the phone and one directing/alerting traffic.

I was thinking about the same jayloo. This morning I even went as far as thinking "do I even enjoy the commute?" after seeing so many stupid cyclists. Perhaps I should focus on the good cyclists and all that. But spotting negative is easier I suppose.
Perhaps where empty cans live is a really small town. Where I grew up I always rode however I wanted. There weren't many lights, perhaps 10 all in and traffic was almost non existent. Still, I certainly don't ride that way in a city such as London!

What did you want them to do? Everybody dismount and cause more havoc than good? Freak out the lady more? It's great that you helped and stayed with her but there's no need for gaffers.
You don't brake when there was a car crash when you see there are people/police already there. Unless it's burning and people are screaming for help/in distress.

You sir, are talking absolute bollocks.
Braking with the rear wheel is nowhere near as effective as braking with the front. Assuming you can brake correctly and can read the road properly (therefore see potential extra slippery bits) a front brake is much, much more effective.
To be honest, riding around London with one brake is fucking stupid anyway, so the above is pretty irrelevant.
You Sir, clearly are not able to read. I wasn't talking about efficiency, just about safety.

Was just about to say, that might be me. I've had my F12 Dragnet Freitag bag for over ten years now. Although the bag hasn't been used in hardcore courier mode, I do ride in all weather and the bag has been used in Switzerland for most of the time; meaning very hot sun, strong winter, lots of spring rain and crazy autumn. 4 seasons. Then also used it in Glasgow... Go figure! Never leaked, never anything wet.
The Freitag bags are worth the money but they do fuck you over if you buy them imported. They've released a more courier-type bag with padding, and more wrap around which looks nice too.
Definitely a different league to the toxico shit.

With a key - very easy to use.
As noted above, check to see if the back brake isn't too tight before removing but apart from that a lovely system.
There aren't enough spots near London Bridge and the only bike near Marylebone was super tight this morning - it was easier to walk to another spot - I'm sure that will change.
There is something quite satisfying about getting the little print out when you finish that says "7m 58s"
You get a print out every time you check in the bike back into a station? What a waste of paper.

Those "random dots" look like print marks. Just disable them in the PDF options within InDesign.
