cheers man
forgot to say, the saddle is adjusted for my girlfriend, she is about 5.6. just so you can get an idea of the size. it is really a bit too long for her. I can ride it too, but at 6.1 its pushing it. with the current setup i would say if you are around 5.8-5.10 it is perfect. But with these bikes it is best to try.

i will now split this if the frame and forks, wheels and cranks are taken
here is the list of prices (you can of coursestill snap up the whole bike for £450):
F&F incl. headset 225 dibbed but needs to sort out dorrar
BB 50 dibbed with frame
stem10
Saddle 25
Seatpost 5Before I start let me just say that the orange you see in the pictures is fugly and does not have anything to do how this bike looks like in reality. In real life it is an amazing bright fluorescent neon orange. I have tried three different cameras and I can’t get the the colour right on camera
I have spent a long time building this but it doesn’t get ridden very often. To be honest my girlfriend did the clown ride with it last year and went to BIKE14 for the rideout yesterday and apart from 2-3 rides to prick lane that was basically it. She has a new Pug road bike now and prefers that (women).
Here is the spec:
Frame: Poyner (of Wolverhampton) late 80’s handmade TT frame 54cm seat tube (c-t-c) and 60 cm top tube (should roughly correspond to a 57/58 cm straight top tube). Campagnolo drop outs, the half horizontal ones that give you about ½ inch of play. Nice fastback seatstays, Reynold 531c (competition) tubing.
- BB is a mavic fully floating jobby (ISO taper) with adjustable chain line (rare and expensive) so yes, the chain line is bang on.
The following parts are Shimano 600:
headset
cranks (170mm, correct self extracting bolts)
pedals (with correct steel clips)
brakes (with original brake pads)Gipiemme Sprint front hub, almost unused and very smooth
Campaq rear hub (not sure which model) I had to get rid of the track axle and it now has a campaq road axle (after all its 127mm rear spacing) with a campaq quick release.
71 gear (42/16) Shimano chainring, shimano hg chain (with half link)
Weinmann faux lux stem in black (silver doesn’t work)
Race face risers
oury grips
tektro brake levers
Ritchey looking seat post (silver looked shite) with san marco concor light saddle (colour corresponding orange lettering).
Mavic cl330 front rim, open 4 on the back, both dark grey anodised.
Both tyres are almost new (30 mls tops) as are most of the parts.
The bike is very light and is an awesome ride. I was told I would be stupid to let this go for less £500, so that is the price. If you think I am being unreasonable let me know. I really don’t want to split this, it took long enough to source the bits and get it together. Ah I have changed the cheap white christophe straps for nice leather ones in black. If I were the buyerI would also change the front tyre to a black one to complete the look. But you can ride away with it and enjoy the spring…
The bike is based in hackney e8 and you are most welcome to view and try it.
this is an older pic when it was still being built. the colour is more like it looks in real life but still not the same.

can i get these please:
Unbranded and mismatched double-pull 'suicide' levers.
27" Raleigh Supalite skinwall slick racing tyres. I'm not sure about these. The sides are a bit crunchy and there is a very small section on one where the rubber seems to have split and gone through to whatever is beneath, probably from being out in the cold but on the whole they seem to be OK. Probably a little life left in them.
cheers
