just so you all know rudy wanted to ride it fixed and discovered that this is not a straightforward matter with the horizontal drops. No rip off from my side. But maybe a thing to keep in mind for the next guy who wants it.
also this thread here might be of help.

Thanks for the tip with the kork block guys. The brake surface is not damaged as it was not used. the former owner (in this late 70's) had it blocked and a red sticker on the bars. ac
@ devil do you mean the tt forum? If me listing it there as well is against the rules i'll tkae it off no worries
cheers
chris

@machineisbored, You are quite right, one of the downsides of being new to a forum, i did not find the current projects thread, so if one of the mods sees this feel free to move my post there and delete the extra thread.
@DFP, Yep I was sleeping in there with my GF. Hired the van to get the scoot and the bikes. scoot was up near liverpool and i did put the old mattress to cushion the scoot. on the way back we drove through wales. We brought the camping gear along but did not find a site or a B&B and it got dark. so we used the van. Was somwhere in snowdonia.

After seeing this thread:
http://www.londonfgss.com/thread16085.html
I had to have such a clubmann so i went and bought one up in nottingham (early 83 model No:184). It was quite dirty but pretty much unused (from an ex raleigh factory worker).
I had the intenton of single-seeding it and using it as a winter bike...but then i got the autosol out and it went all nerdy. Every nut and bolt is as it left the factory, including tires, brake pads etc. (execption, rear quick release...where did i put it)
Advanced 80s marketing: supAlite
now it feels almost to precious for a winter hack...doh

OK so the guy who "did not have to think and wanted the bike 100%" (and made me loose a thursday evening doing changes to the bike), has not been in touch, so it is up for sale again.
please please please make up your mind (and money) before your eyes get bigger than your belly. I hope this is not the usual habit here...in any case: Offers of any sort welcome!
cheers

OK, i got loads of requests, so here are more pics. Also can we do this on a first come first serve basis from now on, it is getting a bit confusing, I have interest in the whole bike and a lot of different combinations of bits.
Could the people that have requested figures on how much for this or that please get back to me with a yes no or an offer.
and here are more pics, the bike is located on kingsland road between shoreditch and dalston.
cheers
the black spot on the crank is dirt, i have rubbed it of now.

HI Ed, yes i would sell the rear on its own around £160 would be ok for me i guess.
@ soul, make me an offer i can't refuse (how do u want the frame? just frame and forks or with bottom braket, headset, seatpost)
@seth the frame is a 21 inch, but since it is a micro tt it is all a little different. 21 inch to end of top tube, seat tube c-c is around 47cm, top tube is 53, there is some interesting detail, for example the two lugs on the front are that close together that they did cut and weld (or solder) them together, tubing is 531c, i'll include more pics if there is genuine interest. ah seat angle 78 degrees. forgot to mention, the paint is almost immaculate, the previous owner did touch it up around the seatclamp, i do have a tub of paint, also have paint for the disc wheel.
