Hopefully I won't be shouted at for posting this here, but I have a Premier Artist Heritage shell pack for sale.

It's a shame to see these shells sat around not being played so I think it's time to rehome them. They have been well loved and looked after although do sport some minor injuries from being transported.

This shell pack is part of the artsit birch series by Premier and comprises an 18" bass with 10 12 and 14" toms. As this is a shell pack only, there is no matching snare drum or hardware. Included is the tom arms for the 10 and 12 rack toms and of course the legs for the 14" floor tom. I will include a little bass drum riser too which lifts the rear of the bass drum from the floor so your pedal can make contact with the centre of the head.

I bought this kit because of its compact size but have begun playing something even smaller (albeit of lower quality) Although primarily use for Jazz gigs, I have used these shells in all situations - the bass drum is surprisingly loud!
The pictures offer more than my description so please take a look. Anyone who is interested is welcome to come round to see the kit and I'll be happy to send through any further pictures if needed. Send me your email address and I'll mail them straight through.
As mentioned above, there are a few small marks to the shells. Some of these are shown in the images below. I promise these are not detrimental to the sound of this kit!
This kit (with snare) is available to buy new from Birmingham Drum Centre at the moment for over £1000. Please see below.
http://www.birminghamdrumcentre.co.uk/product.asp?productid=4584
I'd hate for these shells to sit and gather dust for much longer so please contact me if interested. This is a perfect upgrade from your starter kit, especially if you're short on space or would like a smaller kit for those intimate venues.

I'm looking for £320 for this pack ideally but am open to offers should anyone be interested. I'm based in Stoke Newington if you're close and will be happy to arrange a viewing if it suits.
Many thanks in advance,
Nick

Thanks guys.
Afraid price does not include postage. I've no idea how much this would cost and I'm always weary about the care postal companies take when delivering our stuff.
Should anyone be interested in postage costs, I can try and find something out for you?
One gentleman has requested a test ride so let me know if anyone else is interested in coming to see it.
Thanks again

I'm gradually culling my collection of bikes and have my Charge Stove for sale.

I changed a lot of the components on the bike when new and the whole thing is in excellent condition. I tried very hard to look after this bike and I think it shows. In truth, the bike is like a large BMX but is very fun to ride and rolls smoothly around town. Although only my opinion, I think it looks amazing and certainly turns head. A strong lock is advised therefore!
With regards to the spec, I have upgraded the brakes to Avid Arch Rivals, fitted a Deity white bar (which has not been cut), a Race Face Prodigy stem, white platform pedals, a tan and white Charge saddle and tan 'leather' grips. Take a look at the images attached - I think you'll agree it looks great!
The frame of course sports some minor rubbing marks from my lock etc but there is nothing serious to be found. The rear brake lever clamp and the bars have small scuffs from a careless friend turning the bike upside down. I will send through some photos if anyone wants to see these marks.
Please take a look at the attached images for further detail. I will be happy to send through more photographs if anyone is interested and I welcome anyone who wants to come round to see it in person.
Perhaps optomistically, I am looking for SOLD
I'll be sad to see it go but I'm sure it will make its new owner very happy.
Many thanks in advance,
Nick

Following its theft in May this year, I have now recovered my bike thanks solely to the help of the wonderful people on this forum! Thankfully, I can now continue to play and am pleased to say am nearly finished this incarnation. So guys, what do you think?

Originally I was tempted to go with the rat look and rust my frame as others have successfully done in the past. However, I'm growing increasingly fond of the gunmetal finish now I've stripped the paint from the frame, and am wondering whether to keep it that way?
To complement the wooden bars, I have nearly finished a rear mud guard to match (just in time for winter) and will be making some 'decals' from copper or perhaps stainless (a'la fixie inc) to finish.
Although not completely necessary, I would quite like to find a fork with slightly less rake just to pull in that front wheel a touch. With respect to this, do any of you guys know if I could cold bend the legs of the fork I already have without much risk of damage? I'm sure I would be ok as these forks are nothing delicate, but I would be interested to hear from anyone who has tried this in the past.
Any thoughts?

Nothing daunting really, no. Just possibly a pain like you say. Paint stripper is nasty stuff and I'd be willing to spend a few quid if someone could use an alternative method and get the job done neatly. That being said, I did just buy some Nitromors today to begin the process...
Should it all go testes upwards then Armourtex are only a phone call away I guess.

Hello!
I don't suppose anyone has access to a waterjet cutter or anything similar do they? I'd like to get some steel/alu plates made up for my frame and was wondering if anyone would be willing to cut them out for me? They are going to be about 200-250mm x 50mm x 1mm approx and will essentially be a square part with some text cut out. This will then wrap around my frame.
If anyone could point me towards a friend or colleague that could help I would be very grateful.
Enjoy your evening guys,
Nick

Armourtex look pretty good guys, thanks.
I'll give them a call and see what they can do. I'm thinking stripping to bare metal and making some oxidised copper 'decals' to rivet/adhere to the frame.
Armourtex have a minimum order per colour but as I don't actually want any colour applied, maybe they might waiver this. I could always laquer myself at home.

Hello everyone!
Just a quick question to you all:
Can anyone recommend a company around north London (N16 way perhaps) that have done a good job stripping a steel frame for you in the past?
I have stripped forks etc in the past but I'm not sure I want to go to town with paint stripper and do my frame. That being said, it does depend on how much these companies charge!
In addition, would you guys be willing to divulge how much you have paid for such services in the past?
Thanks in advance everyone!

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well and are having some luck in getting your stolen bikes back.
Like many of you, some time ago my bike was stolen and I posted within another thread to see if anyone had seen it around. With a stroke of luck, I have recently been contacted by a member who spotted it at Hackney Downs train station but have unfortunately not been about to recover it. I'm hoping that as my bike is pretty recognisable, some of you other readers may have spotted it since or may know where it is now based. I would greatly appreciate any information any of you have as to its whereabouts, although I'm slowly accepting the idea that it may be gone forever.
Fingers crossed one of you may have seen a **bright red Carlton with silver forks **and WOODEN HANDLEBARS that I made myself.

Should anyone provide information regarding its whereabouts, I would be happy to make a pair of bars like these as a reward.
Good luck to everyone and many thanks in advance.

Calling all hackney residents! Please keep an extra eye out for these two bikes. As we've had a sighting now, I am really hoping they are still in the area. Should you see the bike with or without an owner, please call the police immediately and do not
put yourself in any danger. The crime is linked to the address '7 Leonard Place' so please quote this when reporting. Many thanks in advance guys; I owe you all.

Wow guys, Amazing responses! Thank you for your kind words.
The bars were laminated from 9 layers of american ash and shaped by hand. I'll be making some in the summer so I'll post an add if you guys are interested. I have photos of the whole process which I'll upload for you too see in the near future.
I'm pleased to hear of the success people have had getting their bikes back. Please keep your eyes out. I want it back very badly!
Many many thanks again guys,
Nick

Hello guys, I hope you're all well.
Like many in london, me and my housemate were unfortunate victims of bicycle theft last night. The thieves took noisy tarpaulin off the bikes and cut through our locks right outside our windows. Damn double glazing!
The bikes in question were quite unique being a bright orange Klein full sus and a nice red Carlton with polished forks. The Klein is recognisable in an instant and the Carlton has wooden handlebars made by myself.
Please look out for A BRIGHT ORANGE KLEIN and a RED CARLTON WITH WOODEN HANDLEBARS.
Please see images of Carlton below:

You guys can contact me at madebynick@googlemail.com if you have any information or sightings.
Thank you in advance for your help. I really appreciate it.

Hey guys,
Apologies if I am asking a question already answered but I am concerned that my PM's aren't getting through.
The symbol saying I've replied to the message is there next to messages in my inbox, but when I jump to the sent messages folder it is empty.
Am I missing a trick or being stupid...?
Thanks!

Hello everyone,
I have for a sale a pair of black curved steel forks as shown below. They are 700c size, 1 1/8th steerer @ 162mm length. They are drilled for calipers and have canti bosses. Paint is in pretty good nick; could probably polish up ok with some t-cut.
I'm looking for £7 + £4.50 postage

Please note, only the fork is for sale!
