my LBS will be doing the building work.
I don't get this. Obviously you have an idea what you're doing from the planned setup/parts list, why not do it yourself? Even if you're not that mechanically inclined there's nothing there that could be considered challenging. The only tools you mightn't have could be lockring spanner, BB tool and maybe a 15mm wrench/pedal tool? All sound investments and you have the satisfaction of doing it yourself and you gain the knowledge of how everything on your bicycle works. Even if you don't have an allen key set or socket set, building up a nice, basic tool selection is wise even if it costs a few quid.
Cracking frameset, looking forward to the full build.

can you sell internationally? more specific australia ?
I wouldn't be against shipping internationally, I'd have to calculate postage though. I'll find out. EDIT: Will cost €46.00 max to ship to AUS(AU$ 52.28). Seeing as it would cost quite a bit more than shipping to the UK I wouldn't ask you to foot the total shipping cost but some contribution would have to be arranged.
Price drop to 400 of your finest pound sterlings.

So today I have for sale my Sony VX2000 and Opteka Death lens. Those in the know about skating, video production or web editry in will know that this camera needs no introduction. I would love to keep this camera for shooting in the new year but due to cash flow issues it has to go.
Camera is in excellent condition. I rarely used this camera and any footage captured was always captured using my Panasonic GS320 to avoid any unnecessary wear on the heads which are in great condition. As can be seen in the pictures, the optics are mint. From what I gathered from the French guy I bought it from it was used as a backup/ secondary unit for production but was surplus to his needs.
The only bad points are the rubber eyepiece which became detatched which I have re-attatched with adhesive which has been perfectly solid and hasn't budged since. I don't have a box or manual unfortunately but the manual is online in PDF form which can be downloaded, which is what I did. The body of the camera has a couple of superficial marks from being used whilst wearing a ring.
What I'm selling:
Sony DCR-VX2000 PAL
Charging cables
Standard battery
Long life battery
Firewire cable
Excpresscard to firewire adapter
Sony Premium MiniDV tape£[strike]450[/strike] [strike]£430[/strike] £400 shipped from Dublin.
Secondly, I have an Opteka Ultra Fisheye for sale. 58mm filter thread to match the VX although can be used with other cameras with the appropriate step up/down ring. Cost me over €300 to bring in from the states and was used 3 times. Glass is perfect. I have misplaced the rear cover(not lost, it's around here somewhere!) so am using the lens cloth with an elastic band around it to keep it clean. It's chilling in its soft case anyway so it's perfectly protected. Lovely lens, great alternative to the Century Mk2, producing identical results at a fraction of the price. Box, lens cloth, soft case and spacer ring all included. £180 shipped from Dublin.
I will cut a deal for anyone who wants both items.

at risk of being the token weight weenie, hammerite is a fucking heavy, nasty, cheap paint that i wouldn't let within reach of any bike let alone a bmw. you may regret your hasty decision when you realise it'll be the mother of all khaants to remove. that looks like the extra heavy duty chalkboard or bbq finish or whatever they call it? one step up from sloshing on some gaff paint with a brush imo.
