That 8bar is a right munter. Always been a big fan of that Low, can't help but feel that lovely cockpit is somehow fouled by those Ourys, I can't get into the chunkiness of them.

48x19, 68 GI and perfectly fine for all the rides of done, managed HoP on it, did Ditchling on it, gonna to cambridge on it this saturday.

It's easy on the knees and gives more skid patches than you could shake a stick at.

Word, I ran 48/19 for a long time and it's a nice do-it-all gearing. It just looked like a much tamer gearing from my initial inspection of the first photo.

my (matt) precursa has glossy spots on the top tube where the airflow has polished it, I guess some older ones must be further along if the paint has survived?

Do you really reckon that's from the airflow? I reckoned it was from my legs occasionally brushing the top tube whilst pedaling.

Looks like 48/20ish? Must be insanely spinny unless you lived in an area with lots of hills but brak3lezz suggests otherwise. It'd do my head in anyway.
