I haven't been to BLB, I refuse to go to any cycling shops when not having any money! Id rather see/experiance the place myself rather than relying on hearsay (or this case see-say)
Yeah, my english is goddamn awful! The amount of times I've made a massive hole for myself on here... ;)
True true! Though that picture you just posted afterwards.... ewwwwwwww, though the middle one would be a nice touch to a simple frame.
its all about the middle one, black looks like its branded with heat, but on close inspection you see its not, all respect to the manufacturer, they are only small time.

Touchy fail!
She said 'Brick Lane' NOT 'Brick Lane Bikes'. Brick Lane is a street, in case you didn't know, where lots of hep cats swing their funky thing daddio, and was called Brick Lane LOOONG before BLB was opened... if that isn't stating the bleedin' obvious.
Don't be so touchy Janush.
Anyway that saddle would sell very nicely in shop14 and your shop, since it is nice enough.
i think LndnGrrl would have said "on brick lane", right? if she meant on the road.
Or is there some subterraneum area "in" brick lane that i have missed out on.
In english generally: in, would denote inside..
Thanks for the name guessing game but you got the wrong guy, -

Jesus fucking a Christ! that Witcomb is just downright awful.
bit strong Ed,
as usual the photo (and i admit maybe the paint_location_choosing) don't do this bike justice, i rode a friends Witcomb and it's truly beautiful, he had it built for him and its worth every hour Witcomb worked on it.
The black and gold bike makes me cry, and they are not tears of joy :( -

I like the bucket and the juicer.
Not digging those saddles, theyre too hipsterish, belongs in brick lane :PLdngrrl how come the snub against BrickLane Bikes for hipsterish enchantment?
you been in 14 Bike Co? Its Hipster heaven, seems fair to say this as they have more T-shirts than bikes.
You may have failed to notice the beauty that hangs above you in BrickLane Bikes.
Much respect. -

Makes sense... it is a pretty generic-looking bike. And to be fair, the Unipack's don't really look bad at all.
for the £$ its not a rip off, but the first time you take the wheel to be trued (ie the following day after purchase) you will see where all the corners have been cut, quality is low on their list of priority.. Still amazed they turn a profit though..
For the OTP customers out there what do people recommend and what do people avoid?
i find it hard but i did find myself rating the Fuji to a friends friend cos they were deadly serious about an OTP :( They got it, 3 months in, they want a new paint-job, new wheels, new pedals, new bars... Dont buy off the peg is my reluctant but honest advice to people, buy a frame you can afford and you like the look of, then build up with parts you can choose, the trick is don't rush it, -
Is it open minded of you then to criticise every aspect of a bike including its geometry without ever having ridden one?
"Like i say...if you dislike it based purely on appearance then fair enough...but to dislike a bike so strongly that you've never even ridden shows a very closed minded attitude in my opinion"
i dislike the geometry based purely on looking at it, fair enough?
