Me and a mate did it, I am honoured to say I came DFL! Ran into Ruben, Arvey and Loic though none of them were racing.
Im not entirely sure how to use Gmaps, but the route was roughly this http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3850049
TFg > harcourt st > Buckingham palace rd > Tate Modern > Rivington St > Cowcross St > Bt Tower > TFG -

haha! this ^
and try getting a cab back to islington after 10 on a sunday night! (for the record i was, tired, pissed, carrying a lot of heavy stuff and the east london line had closed early for engineering works, on the same day that it opened for "full" service") i must have stood outside the amersham arms for 25 minutes before getting a cab and wasting over £30 to get back to city road.
up next it's got to be hackney central/chatsworth really hasn't it? or manor house/green lanes? blackstock road?
if i knew... i wouldn't be rich because i have nothing to invest. but at least i could say "i told you so!".
I actually think that harringey/green lanes is going to be one of the next up and coming areas. My sister has lived in manor house for the past three years, initially the area was turkish immigrants and poor students. Recently though, I've seen more and more arty types and theres a tonne of old warehouses and factory buildings that are now being converted into studios and art spaces. We all know that once the artists move in, its only a matter of time before the cool kids catch on and move in to hoover up the artistic atmosphere thus driving the artists out again.
