He has now reported it to the Police found with several other important details, that should help them. The reason why we didnt get the police to come around as well at the time because from other peoples experience with the stolen bikes and the Police it would have taken them about a month to arrive by that time someone would have bought it. And secondly the picture in the add wasnt the exact bike so we were not sure if it was his. And telling the police that we weren't sure would have just prolonged things further.
Whilst writting this post I got a text from my friend and as predicted the polices response to telling them about this was that they would get someone to call him in the next couple days! By this time all information would be useless.

I do know that, but with these little kids an attack wont be a traditional man to man like us country boys like, they usually involved multiple people some with weapons. Ive seen them fight around the area it was found and I dont want either of us caught up in that because you may not be left in a position to report it!

Max: yep that charge was recovered. They are using a different picture to the actual bike. Because my friend had power straps that were still attached.
I didnt see the langster it was just offered to us and if we knew anyone who wanted one. And the Specialized was a sirrus i think. this one http://www.gumtree.com/london/00/56163700.html A kid came to meet us on it,

Hey Guys,
My friend had his bike stolen over the weekend. It was a blue charge plug medium frame i think. It is the one with the bull horns. It has been left standard but with power straps and possible the back brake removed.
It was stolen from a securely gated block on Hackney road and Columbia road by the vintage funiture shop. To get to where the bike was kept there is a 7 or 8 foot gate with spikes on the top. It is was also well out of sight. He thought it would be safe just locking it up with a Abus granit steel o flex. Unfortunetly it was quite a large time frame it could have been stolen from between Friday night and sunday morning. Ive told him to check BL and gumtree, but if any one see's one can you pop me a PM please.
Thanks

Not sure if this has already been posted but it looks like a good article. http://quickrelease.tv/?p=327

With a bit more research I have found another website, which the little C**ts seem to be using. On the list of bikes found when their phone number was search is a Cannodale bad boy, but it can not be seen anymore. Conicedently also on this probikezone is a bad boy but under a different phone number.
