I have a 24h Hope Mono RS hub in blue (shimano free body), it has been used for the summer built previously built to a Pacenti. I need something stiffer though. Been well looked after , couple expected marks on the free hub body from the cassette, otherwise pretty perfect. The new Hope Mono's are really good british hubs, way better the the previous Pro's.

Friend had his Cube Peloton Race 2013 stolen from his garage in Sydenham yesterday. Not sure of size but probably close to a 60cm frame. Fairly stock except it has a 3T stem, red and black colour way.
check out a picture here.

Guy on a yellow SS Rourke (I think) conversion with derailleur still attached for tension and ridiculous risers.
I am glad you are cycling around the city with a full face helmet on to save your teeth from almost certainly being knocked out, riding around with just a front brake.
What is it with the increasing number of Darwin award contenders riding faux fixies.

Sundays race was lots of fun, first CX race. Next time I think I might drop my ratio from the 39-16 that I was running and maybe a few less pints the night before. Just got my results after a slight clerical error, came in 18th which I am happy with.
Looking forward to heading down to more races, although Croydon I am away for.

Don't bother reporting incidents to Royal Mail about their drivers. Go straight to the Police. They are incompetent at perusing complainants.
I had a driver in a 7.5t DAF lorry shouting at me to pull over whilst I was travelling at the same speed as the traffic between 20-30km/hr on Hackney Rd. I obviously didn't as my road position was safe and was not causing harm. With his manner of driving, the number of side roads and parked cars it is safer not to get caught along side such a vehicle. He didn't like this so took to scare tactics to get me out of his way, accelerating within 0.5m of my wheel before breaking, on two occasions whilst shouting from the cab window. Reg, time and location taken and reported immediately to RM. 3 days later I receive a letter saying it has been dropped as they don't have the reg recorded, even though it was given to them, along with obviously my address and telephone number. So furiously I spoke to them to complain again, with their response that they will investigate. A few weeks later I chase it up and was told it is under investigation. Leave it till now with no word from RM, so chase them up again. This time I'm told they have dropped it because the telephone operator had not taken down the time. Again no effort in contacting me to find out the information that they had not written down on the first occasion.
Dangerous driving should not be investigated in this way! Complete incompetence.
It has now been reported to road safe, but without a witness and this amount of time after the incident I fear nothing will be done.

^This..
Filtering is fine and I do it all the time, but it needs to been done respectfully, safely and with an understanding of your speed and ability. I'm all for filter down the outside when safe, especially on a single lane road where there are turnings along with parked cars. I believe it can be the safest option, like a motorcyclist would. But if the ASL is full or a lorry or what ever is making it awkward to enter. just wait and lose 10-30secs on your commute. People should be eyeing up the down the road to see this in advance. Also if people don't recognise the majority of the people that have passed them on the sections between lights then they are not paying enough attention to their surroundings.

Seriously there are some idiots on the road at the moment. Why are people so fucking impatient!! Track standing with about 40cm between myself an the next guy, front wheel on the white line at a red light and some women comes squeezing through, then gave me a dirty, surprised look when I called her out.
Also I am really unconvinced on the benefit of the ASL box sometimes and think it causes more problems and danger. People just cannot wait inline... The same guy this morning would over take and several others overtake during moving traffic. Stop at the ASL as the first person there, then he comes up on the outside positioning himself in the middle of the outside line. This is no fucking safer or quicker and just pisses everyone off. Cars get annoyed because some nodder is doing 10mph in the outside lane and cyclists get pissed off because you are forced to either undertake, not a prescribed method of passing or wait for him to sort his shit out and get back into the inside line, before going passed on the outside for the nth number of times.
Also banksmen were directing a tipper into the old magistrates court on Old st, stopping traffic, why is it so hard to wait for 30sec-a min politely for them to do this, rather than trying to scoot around or mounting the pavement and cycling down that. Yes, on the pavement probably isn't hurting anyone physically but it is damaging to the cause of lobbying for more safety around bikes. If you seriously cannot wait get of a fucking walk.
Rant over, but there are a lot of people who are not helping their own safety and not helping cyclist gain respect from other road users.

So I eventually managed to persuade the manufacturer for a new frame and forks, with the new updated model.
As I mentioned before I'd wait for the problem to be resolved before naming. So the bike is a Trek Madone 5.2, apparently this is a not an uncommon problem with the 5 series and down. Although ensured very small numbers in comparison to overall sales.
Advice for anyone who purchases or has a madone/domain, if you hear a BB squeak take it to the dealer immediately and ask them to try and replace with Treks 'V2' BB bearings.
Trek say that dealers know about this and this special order part. I can say from my experience and research that this knowledge is limited amongst the LBS's. My advice to Trek was to send a memo out to stores detailing the potential problem, which they didn't take kindly too. I've asked 4 stores varying from Project one dealers to high street chains, all with a large stock of Trek's. None had heard of this problem or knew that the solution is. So Treks view that dealers know doesn't sound overly convincing....
Anyway, the Madone is a great bike and new F&F rides even better than the previous version. Although Bontragers rear aero brake is not as punchy as Ultegra's. That maybe a upgrade in the future.

Anyone have any experience of this?
http://www.myfenix.co.uk/fenix-bt20-bike-lightI had a Fenix mag light which was really good until I was a moron and left it on my bike. Need a decent replacement. Lenzyns seem good but the beam spread didn't overly impress. Also not a fan of having only USB charging without the ability to change the batteries.

Hit the Surry hills yesterday on my newly built Pomp, +50km and with 1500m climbing. Super fun and wet but a little on the chilly side.
One thing I learnt, DON'T use Tektro mini-V stock pads. They are like butter. Went through a pair in the day, yes there was a reasonable about of braking in shitty conditions but I was by no means constantly on the brakes.

Cool thanks for the help TW2.
I've spoken to the dealer again, they are happy to sort a refund out but obviously not a new frame, as that would be for them to stomach the cost of, which I totally understand. A refund they can obviously get credited for but the manufacturer won't honour the frame cost. So will sort it out with them now. I'll name and shame the manufacturer once I have sorted my refund.
In the meantime avoid push fit bottom brackets if you won't to avoid the problems I've had. Although I can imagine I am part of a couple percent.
And well worth it at the right time of day, not much to see after dark though! So glad to see him power on through!
@skinny pretty jealous that your back doing Lovcen, I loved that climb!
