Theres no classic bike culture here goodhead. We dont even have a local ebay here. Its all about specialised, giant, trek, felt, orbea, raleigh RC s**t. FGSS isn't a fad here! I drool at whats going overseas and the demand is hectic. I dream of getting my hands on C delta brakes...cant find locally. Not prepared to pay Pounds 100++ on ebay.

I've just found the following. Indulge me by looking on ebay.uk and search: #270437892705. Item is closed. Frame is the same. dont quite know what the 'master light' is about. But sold for just over 600 pounds minus ebay fees, final value deductions, PP fees and huge risk and effort as seller, leaves me paying the same as this seller would recieve for this frame in Europe!!! come on !!!!! see my point yet!!!
And the CRACKING brought up by MrSmyth is a damn good point! Titanium fatigues!!! I've heard that there is possibilty of cracking at the BB joints.

You should know that we are out here in Cape Town. ZAR6000 is a lot of cash for a used and ugly(cautiously phrased) F+F. We dont have such a collective of people into "classics". My mate's emmigrating to OZ, he could do me a bigger favor if he doen't want to take it along!!!! Thats all!! no wind ups intended!!! I know thats hes tighter than a shark's ar*e under water and that upsets me! and he knows I look after my bikes!!

I think its a entry level commercial frame...it doesn't even have a pic of a rider's back on the top tube.

Is everyone noting that its just for the frame and fork? and not a whole bike.

The bike in the pic is similar but the one in Q doesn't have round tubing, its squared and no lugs (its welded) and the cable guides are sidies

Anyway, I've never riden this one cos its a 58cm. It was used by the previous owner but well taken care of. It's so beautiful, even though shes not a great classic yet(I think). I've given it so much admiration for at least ten years...and everybody that comes to visit has to give it admiration. Italian steels ...how can they not be revered??
I'm having trouble making this decision, so perhaps someone could tell me what this one is worth . If it is of a considerable worth I may sell, otherwise I'll have to find it a spot at the office.
Please note that we are in Cape Town SA and this would incur a Pounds80 shipping cost abroad.
Any thoughts?
