From memory the Bora professional is going to be £5k+
This was my original choice a couple of years ago, that was until we went through the itemised bill and I wondered what the hell the £4.5k appliance was…bear in mind you need to include all of the additional extraction kit etc…I’d imagine now it’s an easy 5k job. Also don’t forget the additional unit frontage to house the dials and you’d prob rule out at least a drawer below the unit to account for the ducting.
Went with the Pure in the end, I think it’s great. Also got a blue inlet nozzle to match the blue walls.
Still need a tea towel for wet fingers…it works but can be a bit of a PIA

Ligne Roset for me…
I have a Togo 2 seater bought as a stop gap while moving house to fit into a rental..
Very comfy, and now on the top floor
I have a 2 seater Harry (no longer made) fitted in a dining room and very comfy again. Now my daughters sofa in the front room..
Bought a new Large Sinatra + foot stall for the front room in our place now. Super comfy and have slept through many an hour of love island, selling sunset and other various shit.
1st chair we bought was a pop, classic corner chair in the front room

Ha, it’s the sand bar in the middle of the river at low tide…they both swam over to it for a walk.
Benny tends to cut corners and wait a lot. So while Olive with runs round in circles Benny will stand still till she is close enough and just run for 10 to 15m.
Olive got hit once, then realised that if she kept on running he would give up..

Anyone have any experience of these ?

Reason being, I have some money from my late grandfather and I want to buy something lasting.
Obvs being Cornish, I thought I’d have a look to see if there were any Cornish knife companies that came up, and these seem well respected by Cornish chef contingent.

All of this,
3 in our house (well 4 if you count the microwave in the interests of balance)
2 ovens with Steam functionality & 1 pure Steam Oven.
Meat is cooked in 1 with the temp probe, potato’s in the other and the veg in the steam oven. Means the hob is left clear and the island is covered in snacks when we have people round.

It’s granite but passed under a row of Oxy Acetylene torches. The torch burns off some of the top layer and leaves the harder crystals to create a mottled effect. From a practical perspective it’s works as it does not show finger prints, water / grease marks as the light does not bounce off it in a uniform way.

Pure vanity on my part but our kitchens been posted back up on Insta

No we don’t have standalone softener. The Quooker system has a scale control filter and the water runs through that before it gets to the boiler. All of that shit was pulled out of the boiler…
https://www.quooker.co.uk/scale-control-plus-cartridge-51-116-00.html
Quooker chap recommended we get a water softer, shudder to think what the washing machine looks like.

Quooker serviced our hot tap for the 1st time today in 2 years
This is the scale they pulled out of the boiler…bare in mind this is with the scale control already in the system feeding the boiler.
Ohh and that’s the 3rd scale control filter going on so it’s not like we have neglected changing the filters
So mains water softeners…

I’ve used home from home dog boarding. They have lots of places around, your dog will go and stay with another person / couple / family in their home for the duration. You supply your own food and bedding…£22 per night ish.
You can visit the person prior to drop off to get a feel for them to make sure you are happy

I have a System boiler and tank, but had a secondary pump installed on a timer on the hot water feed. Timer is set to coincide for when we shower in the evening / morning. Boiler is in the basement and it’s a 3 story house. Works fine, takes a while to get the hot water through if it’s not at the right time though…kitchen is closest to basement. Hot water in no time

I bought these for Christmas for my eldest daughter. She wore them twice then they went back into the cupboard, when I quizzed her why she was not wearing them she told me that they did not go with anything. So off to DSM for some Comme de Garçon Converse, and these are up for sale.
I sprayed them with protector on day 1, and she’s worn them twice
£110 collected from Sidcup. Can also post as I still have the outer box they were sent in from Nike.
Yes to Induction and to a Steam Oven. We’ve done 2 kitchens (2 different houses) in the past 10years and a steam oven has been near top of the list in both.
