Needed to have a clean out in the basement and have a load of stuff I am never going to use:
Phil Wood 16t Track Cog (1 1/8) - £15
Phil Wood Locking - £10
Miche 17t Track Cog (Silver)- £12
Miche 17t Track Cog (Grey) - £10Wheels
I used the below as a set that came on an old Serotta I bought on eBay to do my track license @ Stratford
Front - Campag Record Pista on Campag Omega Tub rim ( 32h) radial laced, with an old Conti Sprinter, flat blade spokes - One of the spokes has a slight kink near to the flange....not sure if this is from storage or from when I was using them - £80
Rear - Campag Record Pista on Campag Omega Strada Hardox Clincher (32h) Cross Laced, with a Conti supersonic clincher, flat blade spokes - Phil Wood 16t Cog not sure what lock ring but it works.. - £120These wheels came on a Masi that I bought on the forum years ago....
DA7700 Hubs, 9speed - Ambrosio Nemesis La reine du nord rims...(tubs). 32h, front is laced radially and rear is cross on drive and radial non drive. Cont Gatorskin tub on rear and Victoria Cross CR on the front (not glued)...No skewers £140
Collection from Sidcup, could meet around the Wharf for the wheels and can post the cogs @ cost

Ha, it’s done 220k but I am the 3rd owner…1st owner had it till 2008 and 180k. He was a doctor in Portsmouth and spent whatever needed.
2nd owner had it and did a light resto from the waist down so all the rust got cut out and repainted…it then lived in the south of France and Italy.
Then I bought it…I do agree that I think I have been lucky. All of the major stuff has been done so all I have needed to do is keep it going

@luke572
Hmm….I’ve had mine for 5 years. I do 2-3k a year in it…36k service was £1k, aside from that it’s been between 3-500 a year to service. Parts a readily available online unless you are after rubber bits around the rear windows..they are expensive. Yes it drinks super plus now (E5), but it’s super comfortable and will easily sit at 80mph on the motorway…I get about 350miles out of a tank..not frugal but it’s not terrible (well not what I’d consider bad, having owned a e39 m5 and a cerbera)
Very practical with a massive boot…my next bill will be big though…lots of rubber engine mounts, bushes etc need replacing. I think I’ll spend 2k over the next year or so while it’s at my mums waiting for exemption.

I think its 12 months...
It's 40 Years from 1st registration or build date.
https://www.gov.uk/historic-vehicles
If your vehicle was built before 1 January 1982, you can stop paying vehicle tax from 1 April 2022.
Looking at the v5 it was 1st registered 03 03 1984....so I think I may be good from 1st Aug 2024...so a year.
