was just reading a few of the reviews on archos 101. a bit mixed. some say that you cant view streams like bbc's iplayer but some say it works. anyone tried it?
and is it true that it doesnt have android market on it? dont get it. might as well be windows mobile if that's the case
It took me 5 mins from out of box to have the full android market installed via Arctools and I've just tried out iplayer and it seems fine. Just trying out TVcatchup now and it's a bit glitchy. Will try it at home with a faster connection and see how it goes.

Also second hand prices are really wierd at the moment. Have found a alfa 156 v6 full alfa history 2 owners and below 100,000 miles for sub £500 as there have been no buyers so the price has been dropping.
Is this normal or odd as others cars of similar ilk go for alot more.
To be honest for that kind of money you may as well just buy it as long as you're au fait with the running cost of the V6. If it turned out to be a dog you wouldn't have to break much off it before you were in profit.
Alfa residual values have never been as strong as German offerings and their pub fodder reputation of unreliability doesn't help.
I looked briefly at the 156 wagons and I was surprised at how little they were going for. Trick interiors and nice styling but in the end I opted for the familiarity of an e36 BMW, plus I still have half a garage filled with usable spares.
Factory Sport but the BBS I have added

You also have Liquid Leather by Gliptone but I will check out the bumph on Scuffmaster.
Looks like its part of the range, need to send a sample off.
Liquid leather cleaner and conditioner is good (smells great) if a bit pricey but I do use them either side of the dying process.
I don't know if there were varying shades of Indigo but they've always managed to deliver a spot on match just by quoting the official colour. But then it's never really been an issue as I usually get the 250ml bottle which is enough to do an entire interior. The fact that you're removing the seats makes the process much less of a chore.

I haven't posted this one before though, it's rather special... Might not excite the rest of you too much but it's perfect for me. Haven't had a look at it just yet but should be seeing it today. Before anyone gets over excited it's not a V10 M3.
I used to see a rather nice white E30 Alpina touring parked up on De Beauvoir Road everyday, not sure if it's there any more. Looked like the real deal. Something along those lines?
I'm off Touring shopping this weekend but not of e30 flavour as much as I lust after a mint, OEM 325. I wouldn't trust the lively handling in the care of my lead booted Mrs...

This has been the work laptop since 2007 and it used to get issued to interns and assistants for menial tasks. It's been sat around the studio gathering dust for quite a while now but I just turned it on and everything seems to work.
It got a new HDD on warranty last year so that's a bonus.

14.1" LCDCosmetically challenged but screen is pretty good with only a couple of marks which actually may wipe off (I'm not cleaning it). No cracks though. Just realised the lid is aluminium, you could scratch off the rest of the flaking paint and polish it if you're really struggling for things to do.
Battery doesn't hold charge but it does comes with a power lead.
I'd suggest popping over to Stoke Newington, just opposite Clissold Park to have a play with it to make sure you're happy with it before adopting this fine piece of technology.

I'm clearly not worthy of my 30% dickhead composition. My flat is in east London but it's on the fucking Isle of Dogs. Nowt hipster down there unless I'm trending it as the new place to be. Doubt it, most people have jobs down there. I don't own purple leggings, I have no tattoos, no facial hair, I never hang around London Fields let alone take pictures of the fucking place and I don't wear jewellery. I don't own an iPhone. Granted I do all of this with a sense of mind blowing irony but I demand a recount. There's no way I'm mainstream enough to be a dickhead.

^^^ DJ Shadow in the John Peel tent on Friday night was thoroughly awesome and my Glasto highlight. It also meant I didn't go see U2. To be completely honest, after that everything was a bit of a blur. I vaguely remember finally finding the Arcadia stage at some point and must have spent much time down there...

I didn't know mine was a 16gb until it was out of the 8gb labelled box and I'd already been playing around with it for half an hour. Pure chance with my one perhaps but there is a little sticker behind the fold out stand which states the storage capacity so you can scour them over to see if you've struck lucky without having to turn them on although the boxes themselves are wrapped in plastic.
I've ordered a couple of anti glare screen protectors to try out as the viewing angle is a little restricted albeit fine for solo use. I think the screen could be a little more touch sensitive (which will only get worse with a screen protector) and I haven't looked into whether there's a tweak for that. General web browsing is fine and relatively speedy and it's ideal for watching downloaded films and TV shows in bed. Although TVCatchup doesn't run well on it at all. Sound quality through its speakers is good and better than the speakers on my Vaio laptop.
