I've finally decided to part ways with the Francesco Moser after years of gazing at it on the wall.
I've owned this for nearly 6 years and I envisaged restoring the paint to its former glory and had already sourced original wet slide transfers in anticipation. In the mean time I got vinyl decals cut as a mock up to further entice me into the project but it never really took shape as the frame was ultimately a size too small for me and I could never really get over it.

It was sold to me as a Columbus SLX tubed Francesco Moser, an early Cromovelato. Further investigation indicated that SL would have probably been a more appropriate tube spec gauging by this: http://velospace.org/node/6406 (if indeed it is the same model frame) but the above BB shell cable guides does go to show that we are looking at a late 70s to early 80s model. The chrome is in surprisingly good condition and only shows minor pitting in hard to reach places. The paint work does show a certain 'patina' commensurate to age but I consider the condition to be perfectly usable and still pleasant on the eye. There is one minor ding in line with where the right side gear shifter would be.
The fork is not the original item and is Tange TF-R.
There are plenty of images in it's various guises here

Toptube CTC: 57cmSale includes Shimano HR-A105 headset and FAG Nadax bottom bracket which I assume is Italian threaded and could do with servicing as it has slight play (I don't have the tools to remove). I will also include the new transfer decals should the new owner wish to renovate the frame, these were not easy to find and not cheap to buy either!
I'm asking sold
Viewing is most welcomed and the frame is currently living at my place of work in Stoke Newington N16, feel free to drop by and give it a once over.

This was bought in error a while back and I forgot to return it. The 2 sticks of RAM are brand new, boxed and unopened.
Just like this and still the cheapest I can find online at £46
http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspecs.aspx?imodule=CT2KIT25664AC667#Thought I'd put it up here to see if anyone needs it before I try and dig up a receipt for return but that in itself seems like hard work.

Resuscitating this request as the event is happening on Thursday and we got no sounds! SamV's rig is unfortunately unavailable for that day but if anyone knows of where we can find/hire/enlist one please give me a shout.
The actual event itself will only last 10 minutes max and it will be in a central London location.

Look up hal higdon for a decent training plan and macmillan running calculator to help work out a target time.
Gonna thank you for this as it's launched me straight back into training having not run since last May but have entered the Bournemouth Half 11 weeks from now. 3 miles last night, 3 miles this morning. I'm desperately unfit but it feels good to be back into it and the 'Novice 2' Higdon half mara plan seems perfect for my current ability.
Need some new shoes now as Android Cardio Trainer tells me my Sauconys are about to hit the 400 mile mark.

Found some things knocking around at bike corner in the flat which are surplus to requirements. Dibs followed by PM and collection from either E14 or N16.
1) Continental Grand Prix Supersonic Tyres (pair) 700 x 20c - ridiculously light and have only seen indoor use and not a great deal of it looking at them closely. These are going for £35 each at CRC. Folding clinchers which weigh 150g a piece.SOLD
2) Planet X Superlight Saddle Ti rails - Excellent condition, no rips or tears. Leather and suede - £15
3) DMR V8 pedals - These date back to about 2003 and have been in the bottom of the tool box for quite a few years. Pearlescent white finish (metallic). Serviceable with grease ports. - £10
4) Deda Magic Stem - 140mm reversible, 1 1/8" steerer, oversize clamp 31.8, +/-10 degrees - SOLD
5) Bolle Sunglasses - Can't remember the name of them off the top of my head but I did take a picture of them a while back so here you go. I'll look them up when I get in. Frames are varying shades of green and clear. I remember wearing them once on a ride, sat gathering dust ever since. Comes with a black neoprene case. - SOLD

I have found that urukdroid makes a huge difference to responsiveness of the tablet. It's actually useable in front of other people now, rather than having to constantly apologise for how slow it is.
I got as far as having to apologise for its speed and its unresponsiveness and realised that it wouldn't cut it for work purposes. The viewing angle also posed an issue. For solitary use watching films etc it was fine but I needed more from it £129 or not. As ungrateful as I may sound the only way HMV would refund me the money was by disclosing the fact that I had been given a 16GB version as opposed to the billed 8GB as started on the box. Even with the bonus storage capacity it wasn't going to get used.

just switched from stock browser to dolphin browser. it's great, highly recommend!
tabbed browsing + their little webzine reader is awesome
Having tried almost every browser available I found Dolphin the most intuitive. Basically, it rocks.
Was looking into those archos tablets, they seemed really decent, but at the end of the day i think the Z is better than a tablet. The only thing i really like about the tablet was that it had an HDMI out, which combined with "Emit" could let me stream videos from the computer to the tv.
I returned my Archos 101 based pretty much on the fact that my Motorola Atrix kicked its arse and I couldn't forgive the tablet for having so few redeeming features. FWIW the Atrix has HDMI out too and it finally got Gingerbread yesterday so it's all smiles.

I've decided that I'm never going to use my Archos 101. The bonus 16gb convinced me other wise but it's been untouched the last week so I'm taking it back. Anyone want this 16gb at face value of the 8gb £129 offer (don't know if that's still on or if they have any left)? I'll include a pair of Exim anti reflective screen protectors which I never got round to fitting.

^^^ Thanks for the info, I'll pass it on to tonyme who's on his way over now to check it out. Any ideas on what it is exactly? I trawled pretty hard for ages and there's surprisingly little information to be found online.
Originally it had the face of Francesco himself on the head tube but it was close to being completely scratched off by the time it came into my possession.
