Old: graffiti mosaic by Helen Miles, Carlton Hill (round the back of Paul Kitchings 21212 restaurant). Not hike-a-bike if you come down the path ;)

@Señor_Bear I think there was a meet-up in Helsinki(?) where there was a few more. Not 100% sure though.
@Eingang Nice! That top panoramic photo is great.

I tried! Drove out to Helensburgh last night and did about 40 miles before it got dark. Got up this morning and my lingering cold had made the comeback of the century. Sacked it off at Dunoon as even the road miles were a PITA . On the plus side, I had a lovely sunset ride and an incredible camping spot last night, and I still did about 100 miles.

Anyone else found the Rapha checkout a bit glitchy? Tried to order arm and leg warmers but got redirected back to shopping cart. Tried to order again, same thing happened. Checked email, no confirmation email. Tried one last time using PayPal and success! Check emails; three duplicate orders on their way to me.

Yeah, steel frame. Interesting, will have a look at that. Looks need but won’t dirt and stuff get up in the BB shell?
@Thrasher Good to know - thanks!
@gbj_tester Sounds like the kind of simplicity I’m after!

Anyone here care to share your thoughts on sliding/rocking dropouts vs. eccentric bottom brackets?
I’m looking at building a hub geared drop-bar MTB and have opened a whole can of worms when it comes to chain tensioning.
I’m not really fussed on having the “clean looking rear end” an EBB provides as the bike is probably going to end up looking ugly as sin anyway. I just want reliability (I would like to say fit-and-forget but who am I kidding!).
Currently looking at the Bushnell EBB vs. Paragon Rockers. Hub will be an Alfine or Rohloff.
Hot damn, that was fast! BUT DID YOU DROP IN? (I was too intimidated by to BMXers).
