nickvonfiction did you find anything else relevant to Steve Thornhill?
I bought a Thornhill frame this evening, the reason i bought it was it has a 58 seat tube and 56 top tube, which was what i had on a previous mercian, and it felt spot on.
Sure it means nothing, guess we all want to think we own something special. -
New Steve Thornhill beater on its way, can't wait to get it all stratched up and give it a hard life.

from what i've seen these can only be ridden on the pavement whilst wearing a tracksuit, with only your heels on the pedals.
... and those people who manage to pedal with really wide knees, if that makes sense to anyone.

I'd ride that, if it had drop bars. I actually quite like the paint. It's the same colour as Euthymol toothpaste.

Nice jambon - what bars and stem combo did you use for that?
thanks, the stem is a shimano with the weird top cap, and the bars are the original ones that came with the bike, lightspeed i think.
