I am soooo happy with this thing, i love it more than bikes that have cost 20 times as much... Last thing to buy is some Cheap Time ATACs. Not that anyone cares, apart from me! :D
I really think you're onto something. I personlly find the less i spend on something the more i can enjoy it with a clear concience.
I had a similar love affair with my first fixed bike:

I'm not going to try sleeping pills as I was addicted to caffine drinks a couple of years ago and still have to watch myself.
It doesn't rest well with me when i take sleeping pills, not really because of getting addicted but because it's not solving the problem. Not being able to sleep is some kind of cognitive malfunction, so taking drugs that effect your physical state doesn't deal with the main problem.
I understand the above text is irrelevant when it's 4am and you've been lying awake for hours. The pills are an easy option.

This forum still amazes me to the diversity of its threads, to think i was excited at the trainer thread...
2 nights ago didn't sleep, last night got a couple of hours, and just took extra strength sleeping pills x2 and waiting. hopefully this night will be more eventfull.
i'd be interested to know if anyone else finds it hard to turn their brain off.

Oh my word. A cheeky ebay bid won me a poorly listed Simoncini.
Woot!
saw that, the fruity paint was too good for my beater plans.
