Spot on. Drop into a local Evans and try out as many of them as you can. I tried the S2L and preferred it to the M3L speed because of the position and the weight difference, you might prefer one of the others. At least there's only one size, so you don't have to worry about the fit so much.
Black seems to have the best resale value if that's a concern, but if you're tempted by orange, get orange.

I'm tempted by the N5 if they stick to the pricing of the current N4 as some are saying they will.
If my Huawei G300 wasn't quite as shit as it is, I'd have waited for the N5 as well, but alas no.Given how difficult it was to get hold of the N4 at launch, I'm happy to get the N4 now and wait and see what happens with the next gen.

Was messing with a new ROM version on the Xperia last night. After flashing it the phone has been stuck on the Sony logo. Its fixable, when I get around to it - so for today I'm using my Nokia 101 dumbphone, which is also my 'long ride' phone.
Was thinking I might pick up a cheap android handset under £100. But that is not as easy as it sounds is it. Recommendations please?
Not the Huawei G300! It drops calls, reboots, kills apps when it feels like it and is generally a pain in the arse. Cheap, mind.

Right, my crappy replacement Huawei G300 has fucked me off at the same time as I have a smidgen of spare cash.
What's the general opinion on the currently available phones? I'd usually go for a N4 as I like stock android, but if there's about to be a new version, I should probably hold off.
It looks like it's Experia Z vs GS4 vs HTC One.
Anyone use these and want to sway me for or against? Or convince me to get an N4?

We popped along last night and sadly we weren't particularly impressed. We had a beef rib (single rib), the Beef Royal burger and a portion of chips to share.
The first portion of chips to come was cold, so we sent those back and got a new one. They were very nice, but not a very big portion. Not enough to share, and overpriced at £3. I enjoyed my burger, apart from the mushrooms that I passed over to LH. She wasn't so impressed with the mushrooms either. Some strange ingredient in the coating. The rest of the burger was great; 3 beautifully tender slices of short rib, thick smoked bacon on top of a perfectly cooked burger.
Her rib was a bit of a disaster. The sauce on the top was covering a big lump of fatty gristle and once that was removed, the rest of the meat was not easy to cut and wasn't at all tender. I ended up donating meat from my burger to LH so that she felt like she had a proper meal. I took what was left of the rib after she'd given up and managed to get some tasty scraps, but there was barely any sauce, it was all on the gristle we'd had to remove. The coleslaw that came with it was very celery heavy, which is not ideal if you don't like celery.
Overall, we thought it was disappointing and certainly overpriced. One rib, one burger, one chips and 2 pints of beer was almost £40!
The staff were lovely, however. Faultless.

Bought a 2012 S2L today on sale in Cyclesurgery, just over 700 quid so not so bad. I rode home from Great Portland street- Dalston, it's a really fun bike to ride! The best bit was laying waste to some lycra'd up roadies huffing and puffing up Upper street/ Essex Road.
That's a bloody good price. 2nd hand pristine on ebay it's about the same price, and presumably you got the year's servicing and lifetime warranty with yours?
Prices reduced on Nexus 4: GBP159/199. Refunds available to purchases since 12th August. Get in!
