For my next project. 1991 kona cinder cone preserved in thick coat of tat and rattle can. It's going to armourtex for sandblasting and clear coating as soon as I get the bb out. Should make for a nice utility bike with 8 speed lx, racks, and fenders. Or maybe a single speed rat with a coaster brake?

It fits me well so it was comfy. Plus tires make it a point and shoot bike. You just roll over stuff not even noticing it most of the time. It climbs well enough. I walked only 3 or 4 times at the far end. Most likely cos I was absolutely spent.
Next time I'm adding a sus fork. My wrists, elbows, and shoulders took quite a beating that day. -

You're right. Must have been a shit set up in the first place. Wouldn't be the first time.
After reading your comments I went back and checked the size of old and new inserts. Thankfully both are 2.1mm. There's no mix and match here. More luck than sense.
I've also checked shimano product page. As long as you get sm-bh90-xxx hose it'll work just fine with deore. For higher models you have to check the last 3 letters in the hose code. They specify the banjo, and banjo bolt type. Deore have straight connectors on both ends so you can just chop off the bonjo.
I've learned more about disc brakes today than I intend. Thanks. -

Been 95% huel since January. Occasionally I'll have some fruit with peanut butter, or a small salad when eating out.
The bars are disgusting, so are the powders, and the flavour boosters. But just like with everything else you get used to it. I'd say my health has improved considerably. So did my fitness. Also went from almost 100kg to 82kg.
It's great for calories tracking, saves time on cooking and cleaning, and gives you mental disconnect from food. I no longer look at food as pleasure, it's just fuel now.
I intend to stick with it for forceeable future. -

Never seen this before. Why would the piston crack?
Warranty replacement on its way from wiggle.
