I have a 2006 fuji roubaix pro, again pretty rare in the uk, and I think my hanger is bent too. Who did you get in touch with to find the replacement hangers? Could you point me in the right direction?

Speaking of which, is there a good guide to cutting cable housing? In the past I used regular pliers with integrated wire cutters, but it tended to mangle the ends.

I'm south (Balham), but could travel to any polo or location on evenings and weekends.

It's not urgent, I haven't ordered the replacement parts yet...

I thought it looked difficult to get the re-assembly wrong - I just wanted to check I wasn't making some stupid mistake like putting it in upside down or back to front or something like that.

It's deffo the chain, I can see it jump and make the noise

So I had this weird click coming from the drive train, and I could feel it through the pedals. I'm running 48/16 so it was strange that the click came every other down stroke on the drive side. (i.e. every two revolutions of the cranks)

Quickly narrowed it down to the chain. It's got one of these quick release links in it:

And it's like that link is slightly longer than all the others. When the chain is under tension and that link is coming off the sprocket, it jumps up a little bit, making the click.

Thing is, this has only started happening since I took the chain apart and cleaned it. Have I put the chain back together incorrectly?

I'm guessing I'll just need to get a new chain.
