A few options here, but looking at the cost I would be thinking about getting the hacksaw out and making a couple of plates to put the QR through as shown in the 4th item down

Evans and Voeckler, well done, but they were at least paced to the bottom of the last climb.
What a ride by Andy Schleck. Apart from the valley bottom with Monfort he rode that all by himself. That kind of riding deserves yellow.
This^
whats with all the Evans love, he stayed in a group until the final climb then did not make a decisive attack to drop the rest
Schleck put his race on the line and has made an effort to win. Going pretty much alone into a strong wind

There's a new bike trail along the Tamar valley, so it might be worth going across Dartmoor to Tavistock and then down the river to Plymouth.
Mr Tom the tamar valley is a bit further west. You probably mean the Plym Valley (trail). I did part of it earlier this year when on the Devon Coast to Coast it provides a good downhill traffic free run into Plymouth from Dartmoor

I have also tried the powermonkey but found that they took a long time to charge off the solar panel.
I ended up getting something from Asda for £10 which uses AA batteries and has a selection of connection tips incl. mini usb. It can use standard AA's or rechargeable ones. For multi day trips without access to mains power this seemed the best option
